No toon is overpowered, just certain abilities are. Anti-nade is the biggest offender, but after that, yeah, probably discord, lamp, and suzu. Fix those 4 abilities and supports would actually be perceived as weak, instead of the OP monsters people think they are. It just sucks for all the other supports, several of which are pretty gimp, but won't ever get buffs because "support is strong". Yeah, if you're one of those 4 supports that has broken abilities.

I think Zenyatta gains IMMENSE strength in 5v5 super tank format. As well as the fact that he has a boop on his kick giving him very nice survivability against his greatest counters. Which basically protected his biggest weakness in the 5v5 format. Which imo makes him VERY noticeably strong. Ofc in accordance with the points you have made too

prior to his most recent buffs id have agreed 100% he's also not great against the rush and dive comps people are playing a lot. I am a dps main and almost always play hanzo, but i've played a bit over 50 games of zen this season against anything and everything. I started the season in diamond 2 which was about what all my roles were at, and my win rate on zen was 73% I am now in masters 3 so I think hes very strong. My main impression watching you is that compared to me your very passive. I don't even heal much 5.5k per 10, but I kill enemies and reposition off of main a lot more

you explain Zen very well if i add then Zen not op but player who pick him good , bad player always not pick Zen because of bad position die a lot then blame the chracter that why i like it when i see Zen in my team because high chance he good player.

metas are pure trash. It is matter of skill i mean does anyone think someone who is for example junkrat one trick do well if he is forced to play cassidy just because cassidy is meta? NO he would propably suck because he is too used to play rng junkrat and not mega skill shot cassidy

I find that chasing the meta can be a negative. My thought on this is that in a random team 90% of the time You are not going to have the meta pick party with you to make it work. So I try to pick characters I have fun on. I learn why I lost the fight or won and get better on a small number of characters. Rather then try to chase an ever changing meta. It feels so good to win on characters that are not meta because you know that character so well.

Good match. Zenyatta is a floating railgun. No other character in the game can come close to his burst damage. He can literally one-shot half the tank roster and the tanks he can't one shot he just taps them once and they die. I tested this in range. I doubt a Widow with a 100% charged shot can do even half the damage Zen can do. He doesn't need even to headshot to one shot every single DPS and support in the game. It's absolutely insane to me that a HEALER has the highest damage output in the game by a large margin. But it is what it is, so those that know how to play him well are a huge asset to their team.

I never followed the meta or tier lists

My first plat game our Moira was body blocking my shots and telling me to switch they didn’t like that I wouldn’t and started throwing like crazy saying I’ve only got 6k heals and damage at only half game our team didn’t wanna give up neither did I we managed to bring it into a third round with us defending push if they capped it was over I was typing on chat asking why they would get so mad and throw a game because I wanted to play a character the rest of our team even said just let me play who I wanted but before I finished typing she locked in zen and said it doesn’t matter because she could easily wipe the team with zen and that I wasn’t a real support player I was just a dps that wanted a self heal ( funny considering they were on Moira the whole time ) and that I was probably the gold three player in lobby it broke my heart cus I’d solo qued my entire ow carrier and worked hard for my ranks it was even worse because they were genuinely a good Moira player she had 28 kills in the first 2 rounds when they got to point she was the first to die on zen and we lost I asked why why would you throw a perfectly winnable game she said in the most dead flat voice “ I’m not going to give you a win you don’t deserve go back to gold” I cried and didn’t touch comp for weeks I came back and had six losses in a row because I couldn’t get her words outta my head a win I don’t deserve and I went down to gold 3..

Every match I'm getting over 20 kills and no deaths with her now I'm having so much fun my teammates call me all gas no breaks when I use her ana is my only downfall with her odd right but the Vile that stops healing really helps her out

ppl actin like zen is a pure healer and not a support like he doesn’t have a whole ability based solely on damage output
