Thank you! I've been searching for decades for a version using the scordatura tuning, as Mozart originally intended. What a difference: the viola sounds so bright and soars magnificently. Very spirited performance - bravo!
Wow! This is the first time I've seen a solo viola player play this piece in scordatura tuning. I've never seen anyone play it like that before. Anyway, your performance is really amazing and great! Bravo!

Thank you dear Kenneth! I love this arrangement since long time ago and feel thankful that it is finally available. Definitely violists should all try it: the sound of a string orchestra is incredible, and this arrangement helps one to understand the solo work even better. This performance took place 2016/12/10 at the concert hall of Taipei National University of the Arts, where I teach. Our conductor and students are great sensitive musicians and I am sure you are not disappointed. Hopefully someday we will see you in person 😊

I happened upon your beautiful playing. I wish many years of success.
Beautiful performance but you were swallowed by the piano when you were on the A string at times. I don't think it's your pianist's fault but maybe your instrument. A good luthier could help you choose a string with a little more zing, or adjust the instrument a little toward the high notes. We love our C strings but the "high" point of a phrase is often on the A string and you don't want to lose power at those moments. You can sacrifice a bit of power on the C string b/c it's so strong
