metveilleuse Lisette
Gracias
Lisette!! MARAVILLOSA!!
Hello, Massenet, would you happen to have the complete broadcast of the whole opera ? Thanks in advance.
Just saw her in that part at Bastille opera house last week (March 2023). She was fabulous and so was her partner Ludovic Tézier as Hamlet. A memorable moment. ❤❤❤
Brava Lisette!
I'm in love with Lisette😍
This makes me cry. Lisette Oropesa sounds great. I feel for Ophelie.
she truly sounds like a bird with her piano trills
brava
Humains, priez !
ENCHANTING
Me gusta mucho tu trabajo Lisette.
Everything she does, she excels, what an exciting voice to hear 💖
Magnifique !!
HER TECHNIQUE APPEARS TO BE PURE MARCHESI
The orchestra has to keep up with her at the end in the final scales. Brava
OUTSTANDING, REMARKABLE... BRAAAAVAAAA!!! LISETTE BRAAAAVAAAA!!!
My favorite voice to ever exist. Heavenly!!!!
I love her higher notes, the approach to them is thrilling, with a wonderful vibrato. I won't compare her to my favourite sopranos. She has joined their ranks! Brava Lisette xx
Mi ha lasciato a bocca aperta ! Estasiato !
This recording from April 2019, a LaMonnaie/DeMunt national opera house production, performed at Bozar, Centre for Fine Arts, Brussels. th-cam.com/video/szf0eI7D8gg/w-d-xo.html
Niesamowita, jak zwykle. Kocham jej delikatny sopran.Jest zdecydowanie najlepszą sopranistką naszych czasów. Po prostu posłuchaj: od razu docierają do naszych uszu stare nagrania największych (Callas, Sutherland, Caballé, Schwarzkopf, Sills, itp.) ... Grande Lisette, Brava !!
By far the greatest coloratura of this generation. A true artist, technician who understands and respects the tradition of Bel Canto. Just and all-round astounding artist and wonderful person
This is one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard. So sublime, and Lisettes interpretation is marvelous. What an artist
Lisette Oropesa, Sabine Devieilhe, and Natalie Dessay are, for me, the best for this aria.
¡Deliciosa!
Extraordinaria voz e interprete
It's lovely to hear this aria in relief of the Met At-Home Gala. Even if this opera were to be done in concert at the Met, it would reintroduce this important work in operatic history to new audiences.
I hope the Met will realize its luck to now hold 2 (at least) worthy successors to the Sutherland and Sills (Oropesa and Morley) to program this repertoire (Les Huguenots/Robert Le Diable/Esclarmonde...) in the coming years.
@@69EBubu the way the Met works, even if they did stage an opera like this, it would be 5 or 10 years from now when the singers in question no longer sing as well as they did.
@@zachnzxt7203or just having moved on to bigger rep, listening to sills and Sutherland, neither sounded bad even right at the end of their careers.
@@zachnzxt7203 Spot on. The Met has long run like that. It's ultimately a conservative house.
beautiful
sublime parfait magnifique exceptionnel je suis fan
There's something so magical and great in her voice. I love it!
Stunningly beautiful. The first soprano since Sutherland (her version on the "Art of the Prima Donna" will never be surpassed) to satisfy me ear.
I am obsessed with Lisette. It’s almost like you’re listening to one of the greats from the golden era. This is a great example of bel canto singing. I have to hear her live!
After all the years of "star" sopranos who can't get through a score without cheating or mangling the music, a REAL singer who is a throwback to the Bel Canto era!! Absolutely spectacular.....and the trills❤️❤️❤️
This version is beautiful especially since it’s being sung by a real coloratura soprano. Nowadays lyric and dramatic sopranos are singing just about everything regardless of fach and it shows.
Coloratura is a cross-cutting label for any voice that is flexible enough to perform agility passages, from the acutest soprano to the deepest bass. True is that singers with lighter voices are more likely to become coloratura singers, so coloratura basses are one in a million and coloratura soprani are more common, particularly for light and light-lyric soprani. The most valuable asset for Lisette is that she keeps her voice agile for coloratura roles, but over time, her middle and low notes are more developed, so her voice carries longer and stronger. She may never develop to sing verismo roles and romantic heavier heroines, but so far she can increase her repertoire with new roles that are fit for her almost every year and be a success at them.
When you fall in love with a great voice for the first time. I feel the same way about Oropesa as I did when I first heard Sills live late in 1969 or Pavarotti a few years later at his first Carnegie Hall recital. There have been many more singers since those first few years of opera love. I felt the same way about Oropesa the first time I heard her as Nanetta in FALSTAFF. Since then it has been steady admiration and fascination as this wonderful soprano has show her wide variety of roles and musical styles. There's not much that I can add to what's been said here. Except her sense of any musical structure is faultless and original. She shapes phrases into the most musical statements. I can't wait to her what she'll do next. Fortunately, the rest of the world is catching up. Brava, Lisette.
Bravissima!
Fabuleux!
What a delight to listen to this Aria not in the usual heady coloratura soprano of today. She has the right mix of chest in her middle voice which is rare nowadays. Brava!
Breathtakingly beautiful.
Bravo Lisette!
BTW, where was this recorded ?
How wonderful a young singer to truly admire.
