Since aldy have the ink, what’s the cartridge for? When I know can change it? Just bought this model quite confused thanks
When a specific error shows up then you need this replacement. Or when there are still colors missing or when there are lines in your print, though you may just do head cleaning function or deep cleaning function or power ink flush function to solve it, but if still missing colors or lines in your print after many tries then that is when you replace the print head. No need to worry about changing this frequently since it is already ink tank. Replace this print heads cartridge only when those problems persist or specific error shows up. Good you choose canon because with epson you cannot replace this because it is built in. When epson print head breaks it is so expensive to replace.
