Lawn Time With Bermuda Brian
United States
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 17 พ.ค. 2020
I'm not selling anything! I'm just an average, everyday guy that likes to work in his lawn. I'll cover topics from landscaping to hardscaping to lawncare. These topics will be about lawn fertilizing, fungus and pest treatments, to aeration, dethatching and verticutting, and lawn leveling projects.

Arena for grubs every year. The only thing I've ever found that actually works on grub control.
Hi, are you interested in reviewing the Smart Irrigation Controller next spring? We are looking for professional irrigation enthusiasts to try it out and give real experience and feedback
The decorative rock seems like they are inhibiting growth. When the sun heats them they burn whatever they come in contact with.
Which has darker color the zeon or bermuda?
Man, let the lawn grow. Seems VERY short
Which zoysia?
Emerald or zeon which grows faster spreads best
Ever use celebration?
Do you apply it as a foliar or soil method? And under what soil temperature? I guess my question is, do you also apply for it in late fall for cool-season grass?
So helpful, thank you
Hello, have you used smart irrigation controllers? I noticed that your account content is very good, I would like to invite you to try our ImoLaza smart irrigation controller, is now the right time?
Dude. Get in to pgr
Video is a few years old. I use PGR now
Gosh man, you have a gorgeous property! Keep it up man
Thank You!
Hey BB that backyard is looking good brother and the front lawn is always on point 👌🏽
Thanks man!
Nice. Also noticed the Estrella bottle for CFB Saturday… my choice as well 👍
It's good stuff man
I’m happy to see another home owner in Georgia telling his story about Zoysia. I just had zoysia put in my front lawn and I’m hoping that i can keep it alive! I have the same yard set up. Open in the middle and large tree canopy along the perimeter. Because of this, my landscaper didnt run the zoysia all the way to the edge of the property. We’re going to put pine straw to create a boarder where the zoysia wouldn’t survive under the trees. Wish me luck!
You got this man!
After "Lawn fans you ready?" You should follow with sharing what beer you are drinking. I enjoy the update.
Looks good!
Thanks man. Hope all is good with you guys
❤️
In the S. Hemisphere, when to prune please
Looking Dam Good 👍🏾💯
What are those white stuff on the lawn?
Putting that work in 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾BB its gonna be awesome ✌🏾
Why not pre germinate with 2 5 vallon buckets
Will get good results this way. I have seeded backyard w fescue b4. I've got pretty good soil back there after attempting many layers of Bermuda sod unsuccessfully and then bringing in some top soil
I seeded fescue Thursday and already have germination three days later
Holy!!!! NICE!!
@@BermudaBrian I must admit my eyes are terrible and upon close observation it was uncovered seed. 🤦
Love your videos. I had Zeon Zoysia put down in my backyard end of July and many parts it's still not getting roots down into the soil (Dallas area clay). It looks healthy for now. Any thoughts on how to get it rooted before cold weather gets here?
LATE in the year to try to get it rooted Here in GA, we have about 2-3 weeks b4 temps hit 70's consistently and also decreased sunlight. You could try something to push up upward and downward growth. NPK. N= up, P = down, K= all around round. So look for a Fert high in N and P
I was burned out/done with the lawn season when we were at the 10 week mark of no rain, but I can't go to back to rotary mowing. My yard wouldn't look as good as yours man!
Appreciate that man but you are a master lawn guy. I hit the phase late this year. Usually it happens 1st of August.
that you for honesty about lawn burn out. It hit me about a week ago.
Have you ever tried paver sand?
No more reel mowing for the season? No!!! Still looking great for a rotary cut.
Never disappoint your a true professional 🫵
Lolol. Thanks?
Looking good BB!!.No rain in Mississippi everything is Dry been a month no rain ✌🏾

Looking good. I take it you are not moving..👻
Hopefully after the daughter graduates this coming May!!!!
@@BermudaBrian No!!!!!!!!!
I do half the rate and apply another half rate two weeks later and I get a dark green on my tif way 419
What did your soil sample results look like when you had it done on the back?
Lawn looks great 👍🏾
Nice video. I have zeon too. Looks great. Can I ask what height you are cutting the zeon at? Your looks awesome. Thnx

Ahhhhhhhhh@@TakeBackTheMoralOrder
Zeon. You are saying it zenon
Or am I?.......
Zoysia Brian Out!!!!
I'm on my second season with Zeon Zoysia. Here's my two cents: 1: scalped it in late April when it started greening up. 2: 16-4-8 fert in May, June and July. 3: Sprayed Acelepryn in May (good for 6 months with zero pest damage so far), 4: liquid fungicide combo of Azoxy/Prop in May with zero fungus so far this year. That's what I've done and it's worked in my lawn. Zeon also needs sunlight but not as much as Bermuda from what I've read. I'll put down a pre-emergent later this month.
THANKS! Great info! Appreciate it
❤
Great info ✌🏾
Thx D!
Always trust a guy with a Toyota fleet in his driveway and a Georgia hat. Love this
1st Gen Tacoma man!
I'm jealous BB.. ✌🏾
Yes Sir
Not too much all at once, though. The Eddy Minimum is upon us. The sun controls the earth's weather. The sun is going to sleep. We better wake up! Troubling times are coming. Jesus Christ will take you with him, if you want.
