Suffocation is overrated. Legion is Deicde's 4th best album! What fool made this list? Where is God Dethroned? Unleashed? Vader? FUCKING RIDICULOUS! CLUELESS MORONS!
Atrophy for the win best comeback album of àll time. Love it. I reàlly loved the song on violent by nature the monkey in the càge science totally rad. Cànt wait to get the new one
Cringe worthy list thats perfect for someone getting into the genre as a listener.
Good band too..
Love her voice. Attractive lady..
DEATH AND MORBID ANGEL
Symbolic
Marry me.
how can you possibly leave Cattle Decapitation of the list
They're amazing, but nowhere near as iconic or influential. Bands named here literally shaped the genre and its sub-styles.
list is a joke putting Nile at 20. Top 5 album
The whole death discography should be here ❤
completely agreed
and morbid angel
Agreed 🤘🏻
The AI pronounced "Schuldiner" four different ways in 60 seconds 😄
I really wish creators wouldn’t use AI voice overs. No ones actual speaking voice will sound worse then the incessant mispronunciation and lack of expression that AI voices give.
@williammathews8710 completely concur!
I think its awesome.
I Like it...❤ Theres lots of AntiChrists.
He makes the BEST albums.
Right
Thats what a shock Rocker does they shock the people by doing things other people wouldn't do...i get it and theres Nothing wrong with him being himself...i can relate in alot of ways myself. ❤
I Really like the way he created this. ❤
If Death hadn't been at number one, the whole list would have made no sense!!!!
Demilich🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘purtenance ,early xysma ,early senteced🇫🇮🇫🇮🇫🇮ect ect💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
I would bump one Death album or Autopsy fro Pestilence-Consuming Impulse
I think Divine Empire's debut should be in the top 20. You got Jason forom Malevolent Creation playing bass and singing, J.P. from Raped Ape on guitar and back up vocals and Derek Roddy coming out of 1 Malevolent album and laying waste to drummers beforehand!!!
w.a.s.p 1982 - it's cool regardless...
Pantera???? Suddenly very unattractive
Deicides self titled is wayyy better than Legion, i thought on the thrash pod you claimed Sepultura were death metal? Are they but dont have a top twenty release?
My top ten: 10. Sacred reich- ignorance, 9. Kreator- Terrible Certainty, 8. Anthrax- Spreading the Disease, 7. Nuclear Assault- Survive, 6. Overkill- Feel the Fire, 5. Flotsam and Jetsam- Doomsday for the Deceiver, 4. Slayer- Reign in Blood, 3.Testament- The Legacy, 2. SOD- Speak English or Die, 1 Metallica- Master of Puppets, i chose to inly do one release per band or else metallicas first two would probably have a spot
Next four? Death Angel, Overkill, Flotsam and Jetsam, Testament, after that? Pick em- Sacred Reich, SOD, Possessed, Nuclear Assault from europe: acid reign, tankard,Sabbat, Protector, bands that flew under the radar but have amazing releases- Num Skull, Exhorder, Blind Illusion, Ghoul, deadhorse, Morbid Saint, Forced Entry, Energetic Krusher, MX Machine, INC, Rumplestiltskin Grinder
Terrible Certainty is 100% thrash what you talkin about? Also Canada had / has some great not well known thrash, DBC, Obliveon, Disciples of Power being my favorite. Metal Church is from Seattle, Vanderhoof is as american as apple pie, guy has some memory issues, not one member has a german accent. Yes to toot my own horn, im 52 and a human encyclopedia regarding thrash metal, ill take any test to verify that and if you ever need a guest who knows old thrash mainly, alot of post 90 thrash but mainly the original wave of thrash from all countries, you did not mention Flotsam and Jetsam, and finally Sepultura is not death metal😂😂
A nice silly AI video but a pretty good list , some ov my favorite albums are on this list
Deicide self titled album should be No. 1 it’s everything that is death metal and nothing comes close to it imo.
@@back4onemore agreed
The correct answer for number one is The Bleeding by Cannibal Corpse.
Vile, Kill, and Evisceration are all better albums than Bleeding, imo.
Why must every Death Metal list always have Death as #1? Death isn't even heavy as Slayer in most of their songs ffs. Death is just overrated and I for the life of me will never understand why everyone acts like they're the best band of all extreme Metal. Possessed created the genre. Not Death. Possessed are even heavier. It's just annoying after awhile. 😒
Morbid Angel sounded way more "death metal" to me. Creepy and dark. We can go by years obviously but MA went their own direction with it and you still hear their influence on extreme metal today in many aspects. Death wanted to be more mature and write more complex melodies as time went on but it wasn't worth the hype it generated imo. I honestly still prefer their first album compared to the others.
Finally, someone agrees. Death is so overrated. Hell, Deicide is technically superior in most regards. Most people act like Death has the most technical and melodic songs in death metal. RIP Chuck, but Death is not the greatest.
You’re being a touch precious lol. They’re just opinions. I mean, even if you don’t rate Death as a number 1 record they are still a top 10 death metal band. Personally I’d rate Human higher than Leprosy. Having said that these albums represent different eras of the band and I may change my opinion on any given day. And I’d rate Blessed Are The Sick as the greatest death metal album of all time. But again, I could pick any of MA’s first 4 records 🤘🏻
I think Death is the best but to each their own man.
Death were not just Death Metal .They were cosmic Metal perhaps and personally for sure the absolute epitome of cosmic Heavy fuckin Metal !!!let the Metal flow!!!!
This list was made up by one person. We know everyone is going to have their own lists and thoughts on should or shouldn't be included or where a album should rank. 🤘
One correction: Ridden with Disease is not on Mental Funeral, but on Severed Survival.
Malevolent Creation is the best death metal band ever, just check out Stillborn
Warkult??
My favs are Retribution, Envenomed, Eternal, and The Fine Art Of Murder.
Like an ever flowing stream 🤘🤘🤘
my boyfriend send me this
Oh yes, I did 🎉 😊 ❤
@@astraquilastra why are you so attractive?
the list actually is not bad.all thse albums could go on the list & in wat order depends on anyones personal preference .except slaughter of the soul.i would have included napalm death & probably dying fetus, reign Supreme.
You forgot napalm death Harmony corruption 1990 LP
My first album, now 47 years old
@@somatl420 that is the first album that got me into death metal i was 20 at the time
Not death metal
@michaelschaaf3619 yes they are
They're definitely grindcore
The real deal now is Lorna Shore,
They're not Death Metal though
@@GregbaltzerDeathcore is Death Metal mixed with Hardcore elements/breakdowns.
@@paulpenwell77 it's still not Death Metal.
@@GregbaltzerWhat about it makes it not Death Metal?
@@paulpenwell77 Deathmetal and deathcore are 2 separate genres. I like Deathmetal, but I can't stand to finish even one song of Deathcore. The 2 genres do not sound similar. Deathcore has more in common with hardcore then metal.
What's that other guys problem I don't know why he's being so mean 😂😮
im so upset that you would put slaughter of the soul above any album ever
I haven't heard the whole album, but I don't get it either. I honestly think a lot of it is their influence.
oh yea.that is not a gud choice they put that above the bleeding? ughh
@@kevinmitchell4018 At first I was happy to see Nile AotW make the list as top 20 basically all are pretty close, but then again we're talking such small differences unless we're comparing two completely different styles of death metal. I think ATG SotS is overrated but I guess much of it is that it's far from my preferred style of death metal but I think a lot of the bands they influenced just do what they did better, so IMO it's largely an influence thing, but I know I said that already. Maybe if I liked that style more I'd see it differently. Maybe a lot of people feel like it's a bit 'obligatory' to add for that reason even if they're not a fan. TBH I'm a bit more bothered that Morbid Angel was on twice and Death 3 times even though I love them both, I think it's fair to pick just one career best from each band as there's so many bands that are contenders for a top 20 list.
Whatever keeps the electricity bill paid over there I guess
Rad!
metal artists and fans are such wimps in real life though
I made a heavy metal horror movie called Death Metal that's now up on Tubi.
I love the chainsaw in the background lol
Hot❤
