The Sailor Basic Course (SBC) “Alab Tala” Classes 46, 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 52 and 53 showcased their profound skills during their Capability Demonstration on 15 May 2024 at Naval Education Training and Doctrine Command Grandstand. It is a testament of the learning and discipline they have acquired for the last six (6) months of rigorous and comprehensive training. The activity forms part of the Pre-Graduation activities of the class which was witnessed by their parents, relatives and loved ones. Among the capabilities performed by the class were Hand and Weapon Combat, Blindfold Rifle Disassembly and Assembly, Close Quarter Combat, Raid and Rescue Operation and Military Operation on Urban Terrain. The event portrays the students’ deep commitment and relentless perseverance that will definitely intensify the efforts of the Philippine Navy in protecting and securing our maritime territory. From synchronization of drills to simulation of mission scenarios, the demonstration exhibited a sense of fulfillment and camaraderie of the entire SBC Regiment---a manifestation of how the Sailor Basic School has paved the way for them to develop as a credible and multi-capable Naval personnel for our maritime nation. “Your hard work, dedication and resilience have brought you to this moment of accomplishment.
