John 6:47. Jesus paid the debt of sin we owe God and set us free. John 3:18. He may chasten us as a good Father, Colossians 3:5-6, but He will never leave us or forsake us. He will never cast us out. Hebrews 13:5. John 10:28-29. If we do not discipline our selves then God will have to. But salvation is free. Jesus paid our sin debt in full so we can never be condemned again. John 3:16-18. Jesus said it, we believe it, and that settles it. Discipleship is for rewards in heaven. First Corinthians 3:11-15.
