    Tardy to the party but I absolutely love conqueror. I am working on the lord of the rings trilogy - I finished the first challenge in about a year. The second one will take me about a year and a half. I could definitely do it faster if I linked a step counting device but I like manually inputting hikes only. The medal is gorgeous - and I love how the ring can be moved to the next medal so you "carry" the ring to mount doom. So much fun, and so motivating.

    2 XL Chickens boiled with Mince , half a bag of frozen veg and a cup of rice, topped with a couple of tins of sardines is what I cook up for my 2 Lab Xs once a week at the cost of £15 or just under from Lidl's ,mixed in with a bit mid range dry food .

    Thank you for sharing what these challenges are like. Probably unrealistic for me to expect, but I was hoping it would have an associated video showing where you were walking, but I guess Google Maps access is their best approximate. Can you check it at any point as you are walking? Does the Google Maps image update along with you as you walk? I do like the fact that they say they plant trees. I wonder if anyone has ever gone to seek out and verify their trees.

    • @FlawlessPaws
      @FlawlessPaws 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      So based on how many steps you walk it will update on the Conquerer app. If you click on the map then yes it updates as you go along

    • @mikegregory2492
      @mikegregory2492 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don't think it updates in real time (unless I'm missing something) - I just starting using it via my Apple Watch, but it seems you have to press a button to update the app with your progress. A bit of a shame as it would be fantastic if it updated automatically as you run, even if it was every few minutes. You can see the location that you 'move' to once you update though.

    I appreciate your video but I have been giving all my dogs these for almost 10 yrs. Just like humans anything can affect the dogs differently. So It's the dog not the product. If the product was that bad it would be yanked off the shelves.

    • @FlawlessPaws
      @FlawlessPaws 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sadly that isn’t the case, there are plenty of bad, really bad products on the shelves that shouldn’t be there and are causing the rise in cancer cases in dogs, diabetes, obesity just to name a few. They are on the shelves because they are classed as treats and therefore don’t need to have quality ingredients in them. What I have said in the video isn’t a lie and I have researched the ingredients found in the food to produce this video. This product is backed by a multimillion pound company and they have spent thousands on making sure they sell so you have been conned by great marketing techniques as have many other people. My advice - choose natural treats like pigs ears, beef trachea, chicken feet, fish cubes. These natural treats are so much healthier and do a far better job of cleaning up your dogs teeth than dentastix ever will. Not to mention that they will also provide your dog with essential nutrients that are important for your dogs health and wellbeing.

    I have been doing these challenges this year, and they are mildly interesting but I'm done with them now. They've raised the prices again. Shorter distance ones are still 30. (for now), but mid distance ones are now 35., and the longer ones are 40. (and don't forget the shipping). I've done 9 of them pre-price change and I'm into it for 270. plus shipping, yeah, no, they aren't that interesting.

    • @FlawlessPaws
      @FlawlessPaws 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I would have to agree sadly - I enjoyed these challenges and collecting the medals and I have quite a few from the beginning but where times are changing this would be seen as a “luxury item” an unnecessary expense or a waste of money. The medals are great and the app is good - can’t deny it was a great motivational tool as I swam and walked through all my medals. However since the price has been jacked up I haven’t used the app and my motivation to take on new challenges has dwindled. My wish for @conquererchallenges would be to reduce those costs down or have a budget friendly range!

    • @rmo8267
      @rmo8267 29 วันที่ผ่านมา

      It's a cool idea and I'm doing some research to see if it's something I'll actually get benefit from but it seems like a waste of money to pay to do something I can do for free and collecting the medals just means bringing more junk I don't want/need into my house.

    Great video. I bought Bakers (once) for our 12 year old cross breed (Albert). He ate it, however it had an almost terrible instant impact on him. He was suddenly unable to hold onto his pee, he was drinking a lot more water. His walking became very irregular and his back legs were giving way on him. We threw out the Bakers and went to another non Bakers brand and as if by magic, he recovered almost immediately. I threw Bakers out and I vowed never to use it again. Be warned avoid Bakers…

      Please be careful with the garlic. The AKC says that too much garlic can be toxic. Same with onions or other members of the Allium family. If you don’t mind me asking, have you had to perform a 24 hour curve. I’m incredibly interested in how this recipe is digested. We have a lab that had been diabetic for 2 years. I make her own food but it’s a little more resticted. I would love to offer her more variety. I’m just worried how it will affect her blood sugar.

    I found your video because i was considering going raw for my staffy of 10 months but don't know much or where to start. Then i found their website by accident i was just ipening a bunch of websites to read and learn about raw diet. Is it safe and any good? Cause i will be training my staffy hard for competition i need a raw diet affordable and that will keep hum healty and going strong.

    • @FlawlessPaws
      @FlawlessPaws ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Raw feeding can be a bit tricky and not all dogs like it or even tolerate it at first. In terms of is it safe? Yes as long as you are buying from a reputable seller and the food has been processed safely then there’s no issue to your dog. There is always a risk to you with bacteria so ensure you wash your hands thoroughly after handling the meat. As for the diet itself you can’t get any healthier than raw food for your dog and all the nutrients that the raw food contains will all be soaked up by your dog and used. You may find it easier to start your dog with a mix of biscuits and raw meat mixed in together :) Hope this helps If you are in UK I do a great range of raw foods and raw toppers that can be delivered to you and it’s all on my website! www.flawlesspawsuk.co.uk

    I have a huge problem using any rice, been or lintel, they all contain carbs. They are low on the index assuming your dog is active. Most senior pets don't have enough activity to burn off the carbs. Fresh green, yellow and red vegetables, lean meat, fish, bird some pork, eggs things the dog would find on the wild. Cooked or fresh prepared with love and care

    • @FlawlessPaws
      @FlawlessPaws ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes my 12 year old is still very much active we swim multiple times a week and he is walked every day at least 40 mins There is no reason to stop activity with your older dog as it can cause more problems with muscle wastage which leads to other issues. Best to keep them moving and keep them strong

    • @FlawlessPaws
      @FlawlessPaws ปีที่แล้ว

      Stay away from anything that has carbs or natural sugars in it (potatoes and apples etc) and where you can after meals get him out for exercise as this will bring his levels down naturally as he will use the food he eats in his exercise as opposed to the body trying to convert it. Does he have insulin? Also 700 seems like insanely high - my dog is considered high when he is in high 20’s?!? What are you testing him with??
