What is the AUTHORITY on VEGANISM?
It's VEGANUARY again, a.k.a. vegan awareness month, where those who believe in promoting a vegan lifestyle are permitted to be a little more vocal than usual. I have a voice and a TH-cam channel, so as an animal rights activist I intend to make my opinion available for anyone who wishes to hear it. This is a message of love and compassion for all, it's not about condemning others or making anybody feel bad about anything. There is a lot more to this conversation than most people know, so I will share everything that I know on the subject.
If you want to cut to the chase I will tell you what the authority on veganism is, it's the truth. The truth being everything that we know about what is correct all rolled up into one. The truth is the only authority no matter what we're talking about, so let's see if we can find out what the truth is about veganism.
This is part one of a six part series, so if you like the overall message, please stay tuned for the next one.

Why I QUIT eating a 100% RAW vegan DIET
มุมมอง 1916 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
I've seen many people eat a 100% RAW VEGAN DIET and do very well for themselves, AND I WANTED THAT TOO. It makes sense THEORETICALLY, but every time I put a RAW vegan diet into PRACTICE, it ALWAYS ends in FAILURE, because LIKE IT OR NOT, there is MORE going on with WHO WE ARE and WHAT WE NEED than this diet is TAKING INTO ACCOUNT. Every single HUMAN BEING has INDIVIDUAL NEEDS based on a variety...

      Duly noted, but I'm not done. In my time off I had one of my teachers say to me that it is important to keep putting yourself out there if you have something to offer, because somebody might need to hear it, and if you just keep it to yourself, that's selfish. I just needed to go back to the drawing board and come at this thing with a fresh approach. Happy 2025!

If you're not getting anything from doing it, it's not worth it in my opinion. Do what you find healthy and constructive. If you can film it along the way, great. And I'm going to be more prepared before I sit down to make a video so that I'm not scatterbrained and what I have to say is organized and on point.

      I find it awkward to search my soul whilst staring into a camera. There's also a lot of bright lighting shining in my face when I look straight ahead. I make eye contact when I feel like connecting more deeply with my audience. I suppose it's a comfortability thing. Possibly because I don't take enough time to prepare myself before making videos, so everything's a bit rushed. I'm working on this thanks to feedback on this video. Also, if I'm not feeling well, you can tell, it's written all over my face, so I favour my "good" side to the camera to reduce any insecurities that I feel about my image. Sometimes it's my physical welbeing, sometimes it's emotional/mental. All I can say is that I'm working it.

    You need to 1) set some goals for what you want out of it , short and longer term, and 2) you need to be able to understand why a video doesnt produce the way you want it to, so you can improve your next video. I would say that is the minimum requirement for it to be more than self expression.

    • @spirijuality
      @spirijuality 10 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I hear ya. Thanks to the feedback in this video I've decided to try a different approach to how I've been making videos. I get the impression that because I don't prepare for them properly they get rushed a bit a become somewhat of a muddle, instead of being clear, concise, to the point. After receiving some of this feedback, I made a couple more videos, but then I realized that I had just jumped back into my old habit of not being prepared. I have decided to slow down, make shorter videos, that are more to the point instead of jumping all over the place. There are numerous improvements that people have suggested which I am taking to heart. I think I got caught up in this idea that producing quantity would somehow lead to getting picked up by the algorithm, but I now see that it's the quality of the thumbnail, and the organization of the topic that really leads to more success on this platform. I agree with you that it needs to be more than just self-expression, because that just making it all about myself, and not really honouring the fact that somebody else is going to watch it.

      Thanks buddy. I do believe that it is important to express myself in a way that works for me, but it also needs to work for other people or else what's the point? I'm going to refine everything that I'm doing here to make sure that what I have to say is more easily digestible and coherent. It's a funny journey of this whole TH-cam thing, as it brings you face to face with things that you're not aware you're doing as well as things that you need to be doing if you really want to succeed. So, I will never stop being myself, but I'm also going to make an attempt to identify the difference between a good video and a great video.

  • @arivannasart
    @arivannasart 10 วันที่ผ่านมา

    Hi. Don't stop. You have interesting ideas, but maybe do less videos that are more thought out. Now days it is not so much about quantity but quality. One good video will be shown to more people through algorithm than 1000 less good ones. And most important thing is that, make sure the thumbnail image is as interesting as possible, in combination with the video title. It is the reason why people klick or not.

It's not the advice we would give to children. I used to be insecure about my own body, 6 foot two 145 pounds my whole life. But when I stopped trying to conform to this idea that my body should look like anyone else's, I found that my body was actually perfect for other things. I have a Yoga body. I'll never be a bodybuilder. You know I've also dealt with a lot of racism in my life, but I'm proud of my skin color. Do you have any idea what it is like to be hated by groups of individuals for having a different skin color? Have you ever feared for your life Because certain people think that you are like a disease that needs to be wiped out? I sincerely doubt that any short person has ever felt that kind of persecution from tall people. Personally, I don't think that anyone's plate is any more significant than anyone else's. There are challenges to be faced no matter who you are, what you look like, how much money you have etc. etc. As I understand it, we are given the body that we need for our soul to express itself. Another video of yours with great content. Thanks for sharing.. Had similar experience as I’ve become more sensitive and conscious of consuming in and around my body.. as child I had psoriasis which only came seasonally but went away in early teenage years but recently in early 30’s I’ve had some skin spots which a friend said looks same as his from gluten intolerance.. at the time I was eating some gluten items and of course some processed foods more than I’d like to admit and honestly I feel we as a species that have veered from the natural laws of being have developed a strong tolerance to an array of contents that should be in or around the body especially in the regular dosage as we have/do consume. Been more highly raw plant based upon the vegan lifestyle journey in recent years and progressively more now to few meals and roughly 99% raw meals.. with the beans, as I mentioned in another comment of another video of yours, I simply dosk for a day to two days with a couple rinses in between.. then blend with herbs spices, veggies and some fruits depending on the ideal flavor or preference of meal. But I’ll store in containers in refrigerator and use as salad topper, dipping sauce or nori roll wraps.. delicious Blessing to all✨💚🌀⚡️🔥💫🌈🪬

    Thanks for sharing your experience and wisdom from your journey of collective events and research. It all resonates.. ✨✨🌀💫 I would just add, even though I know you can’t go back to edit the video and I also acknowledge that you are aware of this concept of terminology but I feel compelled to say something, perhaps for other viewers and commentators… so when I hear people refer to vegan as a diet I always have to state that it is a holistic lifestyle rather than just the dietary aspect.. I’ve been on the vegan journey since 2012 and the first few years was tolerant of the harassment and confusion and to adjust myself to still tolerate being in non vegan restaurants or eat from non vegan kitchens that most likely cooked with animal products.. it’s obvious that for the first 23 years of my life even as a hunter had no problem being apathetic and ignore my body and spirits consciousness to consume the contents of which were an acquired taste that grew on me from repetition and societal influences but fast forward to now I have moved to the raw stage, high raw mostly raw, won’t go to any vegetarian or non vegan restaurants/establishments and don’t associate with non vegans often especially if they are to consume animals. As for the beans, I love beans and beings… but I just soak beans for a day and a half sometimes two days then blend with vegetables, fruit and herbs to make a paste, purée, sauce whatever for salads, nori rolls and dips for vegetables or dehydrated veggie jerky. Blessings to you all.. ✨💚💫⚡️🌀🔥🪬

      Thank you for your sharing. If you want to know my thoughts on veganism, check out my "what is veganism" here on youtube. To quote myself "veganism is a civil rights movement that exists amongst humans for animals, which is based on the idea that all animals have the right to live their lives and raise their families, free from suffering, control, interfference etc... video th-cam.com/video/gfI1ta-sG-U/w-d-xo.html I also enjoy beans. Certainly been gravitating to raw food though. Now that I have a dehydrator, I make my own raw breads and crackers. I started making deserts too. So easy in a food processor. I find it hilarious that I used to enjoy cooked deserts, because raw deserts are what truly satisfy my sweet tooth!

    Thanks for sharing your experience, wisdom, perspective and to formulate in a palatable content to consume.. I agree with the labels, to compartmentalize ourself to a set standard but it’s rather a means of dark and dense or light and lite… All of which alters the kaleidoscope prism filter of white light-source-energy channels through.. most of us have been groomed to dense dark state of being in a slow vibrational resonance and find comfort in such standard.. it is or can be uncomfortable to ascend to a lite/lighter state and so most refuse and just as Lucifer the light bearer was referred to as satan the adversary is because as that personified form of light brought to the darkness, those in the dark project their darkness which eludes them to perceive the illusion that that light is the evil demon devil reverse of live in dense state.. so enlightened beings often are or can be thought of and perceived as demons wizards manipulating reality to those comfortably entertaining endarkenment.. ✨🔥🪬⚡️🌀💫

I agree it's a lot for some to wrap their minds around, but those who need to get it, will, those who don't, won't, until they're ready for it. Just like the information in the Kybalion, it's so straight forward, but if you don't want to hear it, it won't make any sense to you.

      I've heard it said, the faker you are, the bigger your circle of friends will be, the more real you are, the smaller your circle of friends will be. Some people don't like the reflection of somebody who is evolving, because it reminds them of what they kinda know on a level they should be doing. Haters is what we call them. I recently learned that comparison is just our way of recognizing our own potential. We know down deep that we can be doing more, and it's up to us to decide to be either motivated by that or to hate on others. I Choose to love people for who they are and their accomplishments. It's so much easier to be happy for others and what they do. Everything is important to someone.

    For economic growth you can listen to Alexander Lorenzo about investing in crypto. Regarding that you feeling bad, it may be something physical too besides spritual. You are growing.

      @@frv6610 I know that I am growing. That's what a dark Knight of the soul is all about. Thank you for taking the time to write to me. I always appreciate feedback. As far as investing, I have always chosen to invest in myself so that I am always my greatest investment. To me this means learning languages, the language of music, the language of writing, speaking, Yoga etc. Part of my predicament as a spiritually oriented person is that I've never been able to chase after money. I live my life according to a set of principles that I am governed by. It makes me who I am, and I have faith that this path that I'm on is the right one for me and will get me where I need to go. I eat walnuts pecans hazelnuts Brazil nuts cranberries Goji berries raisins mangos figs and dates on a daily basis. I take raw vegan protein Shake with extra spirulina in it every couple days. I eat a whole fresh raw ripe organic fruit and vegetable diet. I eat whole grains and beans once in a while. I eat a good amount of healthy fats because of my Vata constitution Ayurveda. I'm very conscious of my macro and micro nutrients. I practice callisthenics a few days a week. I practice yoga twice a day seven days a week because I am in a process of becoming a yoga teacher. I run and bike at least once a week. And I work a physically demanding job. I do squats and lunges . I personally believe that everything has a spiritual component to it. To me there is no isolation of causes and effects. To me everything is connected intimately. An imbalance in one area means an imbalance in all areas. I think it's perfectly natural to go through a process of letting go of some old energy just like at a funeral. When something comes to an end we go through a process where we acknowledge what happened and we make a choice to move on. I feel much better now. I just attended a wellness festival which was very heartening and life affirming, and funny enough one of the themes had to do with a dark Knight of the soul, so it was very synchronous for me. Anyways thanks for your comments, take care stay tuned if you like, more roller coaster ride to come! Lol
