haven't seen any documentation of this area, so im showcasing it here the video also includes the way of getting here (most likely not the only one) and a seemingly dead end where the game puts you in a dark, corrupted version of the lobby if you look up. the timer from wf.z64 is also present, killing you once it reaches 40 seconds. i dont think there's an actual exit there, as ive tried it sev...

Man, seeing this is a blast from the past. Dudaw12's documentation of the old Spaceworld build plus his attempts to recreate it fascinated me so much as a kid. Great to see his early attempts included and immortalized with everything else beta-related in this hack.
Hey, good content! I just wanted to make sure you were aware that you have the game running a bit too fast. You can fix this by changing your VI refresh rate in the configuration settings to “1500”. Cheers!

I remember stumbling into this a few days ago and being baffled that there isn't much to do besides die. But apparently there is a star somewhere in there. But it can only be obtained with levitation cheats. So you're just going in to die if you don't know that. I'm also surprised no one pointed it out, but the music used in the broken lobby is a deep demonic tone of beware the forest mushrooms with only the main instrument playing.
Don't forget the debug control cheat as well.

Some of us already know about this room but we are just confused as you are for the purpose of it.
it honestly seems unfinished? some of the level warps just lead to preexisting/empty stages (some leading to absolutely nowhere) and the timer seems to have no purpose other than to kill you. does this room have an actual name by any chance?
@@tiidall It is unfinished. Chris says in his last uploaded video that the "1.0" people have is the abandoned version, its actually more like a 0.9 and the remaining team are working on a finalized 1.0 release.
@@tiidall From what I could search up it's actually a star in that room...on the ceiling, to which I know I searched that whole room before and saw no such thing. I'll check again later. Edit Yes, there is a star up there after all. The reason you don't see it is cause it's not spinning, it's 2D. You need to be near Bob-bomb door or the main lobby door (the top 2 doors) to see it. Also it's too high for you to reach it so as you said it's most likely unfinished. Now that I think about it The winter version (when you meet king bob-bomb after collecting a star and a timer starts) also has another 2D star that you can spot at the right angle looking out of bob-bomb field that's completely out of reach since you cannot leave that one area and even if you could it is still unreachable.

@@marth2995 Jokes aside from what I've learned while playing for so long is at some point while exploring the castle at night it's a random chance the game will force you to play as him as you enter a door. Sometimes if you enter key doors you will see him walking out the second door as you enter before playing as him. There's also some seriously creepy painting that lets you play as him, can't remember where it's some indoor garden area.
