Perfect portraits in originals come to life and excite. I cannot say which one I prefer. Certainly the little Machedà is a small masterpiece that enraptures within. A long video that deserves to be seen in its entirety because it has a thread that is unthinkable to break. The fifteen tracks are tied together, yet with clear-cut characterisations. A true musical that in the theatre, I am sure, could give very original answers. I also include this video in my playlist, confirming my Violin Key for this production as well. Only regret: the piano solo is missing from the first track on the Prologue! But I understand that the video context would not have allowed it! I particularly emphasise the realisation that I know is extremely difficult starting from a portrait: - Seneslaus and Machedà absolutely irresistible - Asmodeus whose soft, attractive mouth opens menacingly and without any pity, even in the strange pursuit of... - The soft swirls of love of Taygete, the distant and lost mother - The tender, fascinating and unforgettable wonder of Fu'Ad, created like all the others by the artist Luce, evidently constantly inspired by such unique essences - The absolute beauty of Deceneus, admirably depicted. Few movements are barely perceptible, but so expressive is the portrait that it remains imprinted in the soul and you can feel it move inside anyway. His voice leaves no escape, whether in the warning to Asmodeus or in the declaration of fatherly love to Seneslaus. - The flights of Alrakis, the eagle and the petrified Acturus in the memory of the past. The extraordinary voices that interpret them. Soprano and bass, perfect! - The portrayal of Seneslaus coming to life in the despair of having lost his father is a cameo of human heartbreak that descends to the deepest and most secret point, and that accompanying tango is not easy to let go of. An astonishing hour of listening that makes you want to know more about this story and its epic inhabitants, ending with a piano solo of profound melancholy. I understand why it has been released on all the streaming platforms, despite being produced by a complete unknown. It deserves the Kalòs Violin Key from me and will be included in my playlists and mentioned on my channel." The three-minute finale is a bit melancholy. It starts off with a piano solo that blends its notes into the soothing colours of a dreamy skyline. But underneath it all, there are still traces of pain. The music really brings the epic story to life and is a pleasure to listen to. The different styles blend together in an unusual way, reminiscent of the musical where the narrative is centred on the significance of sound. The voices are really engaging and fit the characters perfectly. It's an amazing hour of listening that makes you want to know more about this story and its epic characters. It ends with a piano solo that's really moving. I can see why it's been released on all streaming platforms, even though the producer is unknown. I'd like to give it my "Violin Key"

I proceeded to analyse Julian Kalós' complete album, omitting the accompanying moving video. My objective was to evaluate the musical content in a detached manner, free from any preconceptions, before forming a personal judgement.

Everything is so amazingly neat and special! From Luce's original portraits, which are filled with palpable essence and I absolutely loved from the start, to the novel that I read with difficulty because it's in Italian, and finally, arriving at this incredible surprise! Video for each ballad with the protagonists moving and singing like in a musical - it's so enchanting, witchcraft, spell of the spirit!

These Daints really pique our interest. They make us think about certain situations. Could they have thought they could create and 'use' what they shouldn't and couldn't?

The first time I saw Deceneus, I was blown away! Luce's portrait is incredible - it captures the essence of a soul who has experienced the wisdom of coming Home. His descriptions of his journeys with Seneslaus are so vivid and inspiring, and the music and video really bring his figure to life.
