Lt. Col. Jack Lenox USAF retired, spoke to the Villages Hangar Flyers club, and related his experiences flying the famous P-38 Lightning in WWII. The date was June 15, 2013.

    What a national treasure. Jack mentions my uncle Lou Benne near the end of the talk. He died in 1978 and I am currently researching his life so I really appreciate this information. Thank you!

    Thanks for posting this Doug. This is my uncle. He will be receiving the Congressional Gold Medal today, May 20, 2015, in Washington DC honoring all of the Aces.
