Thank you for this video! I've been wanting to add wheels to my heavy, recycled plastic chaise loungers without them being lifted on one end because of the wheels. This is the answer to my issue! :)

Thanks for watching and for the comments. I love my surface planer too. If you really want to take it to the next level check out my short video on making it flat.

I love the way the finish turned out on your bench! I'm thinking about doing the bottom of mine in a distressed finish and leaving the top natural with a poly over it. I got a new planer last night so I'm already looking forward to the next project!

I watched this video, fell in love with it, and made the bench in no time. It turned out great! I used 2 x 12 lumber because I had it on hand and had no trouble at all adjusting for the difference in size. Other viewers, if you haven't yet, check out the plans on his WEBSITE! I look forward to more videos!

Thank you so much for the kind review. As I sit here now I am editing the video showing how to do a distressed finish on that bench. Hope you get to see it!

With the bansaw you could put different shapes on the V and outside of the legs to give more variety. Would also look better if you plugged, or at least filled, over the screw heads.

Thanks for the note, and thanks for watching. I posted a short video on repairing surface defects, and that describes 3 ways to hide those screws. I do that on my benches and I agree it makes it a lot more attractive.

Drilling a hole in the legs at the apex of the v-cut also helps prevent the board (leg) from splitting further.

I love the video. However I would check the plans as there is a typo. A 2x10 is 9.25" wide....not 9.5"
