Anything with John Held Jr. in it is well worth watching.

This is timeless. Great documentary.
Great Documentary and long overdue. Thank you for producing this video and showing how postal mail can be made more interesting. Global Penfriends has just added "Mail-Art Pals" as a type of contact members can search for.
This so cool! I didn't know this was a thing, it's just what I did. Wish I had taken pics of all the art mail I've made. :)
This is awesome! If you like this you should check into Pocket Letter Pals #pocketletterpals It is another form of art combined with Pen Pals started by Janette Lane. We're on FB too! gina
loved watching this. :) thank you.
I watch lots of TH-cam videos. A lot of them were craft or DIY related and more recently mixed media. I would see them get what they called happy mail. It was usually in a bubble mailer and was just some crafty gifts. I did a swap once on a crocheting site. It cost a little but was so much fun. But once I starting seeing all the happy mail of the mixed media artists, I was floored. I loved it because I could see a little gift and not spend much money. Then I saw a video where someone had a decorated envelope and a few small gifts inside and they called it mail art. I was just amazed. I loved it. I have only sent one piece so far but plan to send loads more. I would love to send or swap mail art with anyone from the video. That would just be so awesoe!! Amazing movie!! Loved it so so much!!

I've been waiting for the documentary to come out for a while so it was an absolute joy to finally watch it. Now I feel the need to ask a really dorky question - which black pens do the people in this video tend to use?
Oh, good question! We'll ask and see!
Making Co Thank you!
BeingErin Amber says she uses jelly rolls and microns!

love these girls for their creativity!
Great video. Really love who you created interest and drama over what you were doing. Nice mix of wide and close shots with good use of timelapse. Best of luck for your future efforts. Chris Erskine chriserskineartist@gmail.com @erskinec
