To me Guy happened to be much more concerned for Sam, especially later when he said he’s trying to protect him, as he didn’t want Sam to be betrayed or be abandoned once again, when in reality we learned Pam only did it to keep Sam safe.
I know Guy really means well when he’s trying to protect Sam from getting hurt by his mom but he comes across as quite judgemental and berating of Pam to Sam and because of that, Sam flat out abandons Guy and EB and goes off with his mom. So this does make Guy less likeable in some way but it also makes him more like a real friend who’s genuinely concerned for his best friend’s well-being but again by having Guy become so overly critical, overly judgemental and overprotective towards EB and Sam, we get to see the consequences of his actions and how it affects his relationships as a result. I feel like Guy SHOULD have apologize to Pam for misjudging her quite harshly, to Sam for not being understanding or supportive and to EB for putting Looka in jail and not listening to her or taking her feelings into consideration. In the first season, Guy learns to not give up on his dream of being an inventor, to open his mind in trying new things and learns to open up to people more. Here, he learns to trust, listen, support and understand his friends and loved ones better, give people second chances and to not let prejudices consume and cloud his better judgement I get the feeling that despite his efforts to protect Sam and EB, he ends up pushing them both away quite unintentionally and that he honestly doesn’t know any better. Plus Guy shows to have major trust issues towards Pam particularly Looka and the Yooks (whom he’s neither met or talked tobecause of his bigotry and prejudice towards to Yooks and the fact that he forbid EB from ever seeing Looka because of that prejudice). I felt that Guy and Sam’s relationship IS NOT as close or as supportive as it was in the first season because Guy is honestly blaming, berating, yelling at Sam for being too naive of trusting his mom more and for harshly judging, criticizing and shaming Pam behind her back to Sam and that does NOT sound very supportive or understanding or Guy to do so.
Guy is been closed minded and forgot what love is. Thanks to him because he never listens to EB and never want her to see looka and he puts him danger and make looka mad at EB and disappointed in her while she thought of what looka thinks and hates her. I blame Guy for it and even he's a coward.

Pam I really Like You But Why Why Did Sam Leave Her
Pam Why Why
and She A Nice Person
Pam IS a caring mother, she’s just got a very dangerous job as an international super spy where she can very well easily be killed in the process so of course she’s gonna be hard, badass to Sam at first. Guy just cannot fully acknowledge or even understand the position she’s in because he just doesn’t trust her and that he’s plainly falsely accusing her as being a bad mother to Sam by abandoning Sam at the orphanage when in reality, she HAD no other choice but to give up Sam and sent him far away from East Flurbia so that he will be safe by placing him in an orphanage which really did hurt her deeply inside to do so because she LOVED him so very much. She wanted to give Sam a very good life in Glurfsburg without being in harm’s way. That is what a true mother should do for her child: to give him/her the best life possible and do what is really best for her child even if it meant giving it up to someone who will take care of him/her.

I know Guy has been brainwashed by all this Yooks/Zooks propaganda crap and all and I understand that he’s trying to protect Sam from getting hurt because he cares about his emotional well-being but it seems to me that Guy does have major trust issues with Pam and I felt like they never got to work out and resolved their issues completely by the end of the second season. However seeing how they both genuinely do care a very great deal about Sam in different ways, I can at least forgive the fact that they both want what’s best for him and help him to grow as a person. But in all fairness, Sam hasn’t been very truthful to Guy about what he’s been feeling about his mother and how much her focus on the mission has been affecting him emotionally. If Guy truly cared about Sam, he should actually LEARN TO TRUST PAM MORE instead of accusing her for being a bad mom to Sam and listen to what Sam really needs to say WITHOUT judging Pam. But then again, that’s just how I see this from my own point of view. I would loved to hear your thoughts in great detail about this particular episode but PLEASE keep it respectful as possible. Thanks everyone.
I respect your opinion. Really. They both really cared about Sam and do what is best. But I really hoped that they need to learn to at least trust each other. Not acting like a divorce married couples.
Yeah that’s the problem that I had with Pam and Guy is that I never got any indication if they’ve ever learned how to trust each other and see eye to eye by the end of the second season in how they both want to protect Sam but for entirely different reasons. For Pam, it’s just a way to protect him because she doesn’t want him to get killed in this war and because she’s a fricken spy with an extremely dangerous job and for Guy, it’s just trying to protect Sam from getting his feelings hurt and be abandoned by Pam and because Guy is just genuinely concerned for his best friend’s emotional well-being. If the writers wanted to have real tension between Guy and Pam, that’s fine but I’m just saying just take the time to actually developed their characters and their relationship a lot better. Plus I hated how the writers made Guy became way too easily consumed with all this “Yooks are evil” and all this Yookia/Zookia war propaganda bullshit and how he was written into the story for the second season. They kind of made him a little too unlikable. I mean, granted I know he wants to protect EB and be a great father and provider to his new family but then he goes all overbearing and overprotective with EB and just flat out gets her boyfriend arrested WITHOUT ever thinking about the consequences of his actions. The grounding part, okay, that’s understandable, she broke the law and Guy’s trust in her but him forbidding her from ever seeing/talking with Luca was just completely uncalled for and extreme. Even when EB calls him out for his behaviour for putting Luca in jail without thinking about her feelings first and for trying to tell him that the Yooks are NOT bad people and that they’re just the same as the Zooks are, Guy’s STILL sooo convinced that the Yooks are evil and that the Zooks are good and despite everything he said and did to EB, Pam and Sam and everyone else around him including Michellee, it seems to me like Guy HASN’T EVEN LEARNED ANYTHING from all of this. I feel like he didn’t learn or grow at all throughout the entire second season!!!!!!!!! Don’t get me wrong, I loved Guy as a character but I thought he was soooooo MUCH BETTER written and handled in the first season. I don’t know. What are your thoughts about Guy’s relationship with Pam? I really want to hear all your thoughts about it.
Later when Guy starts questioning Sam about trusting Pam, whether or not He is going to live with Pam after the war between Yookia and Zookia and becomes confrontational when Sam admits to Guy that she hasn’t even made him Green Eggs and Ham once because Pam has been very focused on the mission on trying to get the Moo-Laka-Moo. What Guy doesn’t realize or be aware of is that the fact that she and Sam have just came back from the island that makes them age backwards if they get closer to the heart of the jungle that actually has helped both Sam and Pam to rekindled and mend their broken relationship and for Pam to actually watch her son grow up and experience his very first steps, first words, etc as they start to age back to their original ages while escaping Philip Trousers. I get the feeling watching the scene of Guy confronting Sam, that Sam himself has NEVER really told Guy the truth of what he and his mom went through because he’s just blinded with awe over his mom that he doesn’t really take the time to really stop and think about how his mom Pam has been treating him until Guy confronts him. And with Guy, himself, i get the feeling that he’s trying to convince Sam into going back to Glurfsville with Guy and EB by trying to turn Sam against his own mother, telling him very bluntly that “she’s gonna leave him behind just like she did before”. Guy, well, honestly is clearly misguided and doesn’t know any better. But like a really good friend, he’s mostly trying to protect Sam because he wants the very best for him so that he won’t get hurt by Pam. My point is that if Sam told Guy the whole entire truth without being defensive and in denial of Pam, explain to Guy what REALLY happened on the island, why Pam left Sam at the orphanage and what she really had to go through to keep him safe, then maybe Guy would have understand her and Sam a lot better and be able to learn how to trust them both better.
@@disneyfan9134 All of those facts you stated are true. Sam should've told Guy about what happened before. But even if he did, Guy would still believe Pam is a bad person, weather she still working with the Yooks(especially both sides are good, just got a huge major issue about what sides they put butter on) or not. I completely understand Guy is protecting Sam from getting hurt, same thing with EB, it's nice and sweet. But, he just let the Zooks' anger towards the Yooks get a best of him and that causes problems, plus a price. EB got mad at Guy because he let her future boyfriend, Looka go to jail (and yes, she did broke the law about going over the forbidden wall, twice) and Sam betrayed him after Guy telling him that Pam is being a horrible mother. Plus, nobody knows the real reason why Pam put Sam in the orphanage in the first place until Sam knows after he found out that the Yooks will use the Moo-Laka-Moo to destroy Zookia. She was saving him. It even broken her heart before and it was sad. She never get see her son growing up because of her missions. Pam never wanted to get rid of Sam, she was only trying to keep him out of harm's way and that's what she was trying to do when Sam decided to go back to Yookia and get that Moo-Laka-Moo.
@@ALFAST-bn7xy I couldn’t agree more. I felt like they really made Guy very unlikable because they turned him into an overbearing, unreasonable and close minded asshole to both EB and Sam and this Yooks and Zooks war propaganda/racist attitude towards the Yooks is the leads him to pay the consequences for his actions. He really doesn’t take the time to stop and think about what he’s doing wrong and what the consequences will be for him. The main problem I had with second season is that unlike the first season, Guy and Sam really don’t get very much screen time during the second season because they barely interact with each other and when they do, Guy starts blaming, judging and questioning Pam whether or not she’s a good mother to Sam and on top of that, Guy starts berating and questioning Sam over Pam’s actions and in a very confrontational and judgemental manner to the point where it comes off more hurtful and unreasonable to Sam rather then helpful and having Guy say “hey, I’m your friend and I just can’t help but feel really concerned about Pam leaving and abandoning you completely and I’m just worried about your emotional well-being over it.” If Guy said that to Sam, their relationship would have been a lot more stronger and they would have talked things over and open their minds to new ideas like in the first season but sadly I NEVER got that from this second season. So overall, I honestly don’t blame Sam for betraying Guy and leaving him behind to go with Pam to return the Moo-Laka-Moo to Yookia, I mean Guy was being kind of a jerk to him and said some nasty things about Pam behind her back. And the same thing goes with EB. In fact, when it comes right down to it, Guy is the one who HAS to learn the important lesson the REALLY hard way - to not only trust not only EB and Sam but also the Yooks, Looka and Pam and that it doesn’t matter if you have their best interest at heart or want what’s best for them. Whatever choice of words or actions you’re going to do, make or say to someone or something, there’s ALWAYS going to be consequences in the end and that Guy should learn NOT to give into propaganda and just realize what’s more important and what and who should come first: the war, the belief that the Yooks are evil and the Zooks are good, his job or everything else like his friends and family that he unintentionally pushed away. If Michellee wasn’t so watered down and actually DID came to East Flubia with Sam, Guy and EB instead of staying behind and be given more screen time and more time to be developed, I think she would have played a huge role in helping Guy and EB resolve their differences and become sort of like Guy’s moral compass by not only calling him out when he’s said or done something that is wrong and uncalled for but also to give him guidance, challenge him to be a better father to EB and become more of the peacemaker between the two. Also if Guy TOLD Michellee the truth about what really happened between him and EB and why they’re fighting with one another in the first place instead of keeping it all a secret from Michellee, Michellee would have actually try to understand and figure out some very effective ways to get both EB and Guy to fully reconcile and make up. Maybe have EB fully and emotionally open up to Michellee about how hurt and completely misunderstood she felt by Guy, how angry and betrayed she felt when Looka got thrown in jail thanks to Guy and why she thinks Guy “is going to be a terrible father to this baby”. That would have actually worked a lot better in my opinion. I mean Michellee seems to really care about EB’s feelings and genuinely wants to help her, I’m sure she’d be able to really help EB out with her issues with Guy and to help navigate her through all this Yookia/Zookia propaganda bullshit. What do you think about that? Be honest and don’t be afraid to give me your opinions. Let’s be respectful and peaceful adults about this, shall we?
