It's a beautiful organ.
Can you tell us what piece you are playing in this video?
Thank you for this video.
Beautiful organ!
Nice organ!
I enjoyed the way you presented the information in this video.
What a fantastic sermon! Thank you for this inspiring reminder of who Jesus is. I need this.
How the people at this called “church” still listening to this blasphemy!!!
What a blasphemous woman! God is constantly changing and evolving?!!! No, God is immutable, unchanging. And if her god is changing and evolving it is not the God of the Bible. Her god is something that she has conjured up in her mind. Sad to see such blasphemy tolerated in a "church."
Elizabeth Riley is unfit to be a pastor. Paul writes heavily on this subject. Her version of Christianity isn’t truth- it’s a self centered abhorrent view that needs to be struck down from within the church. Her morality is not higher than Christ. Her viral video criticizing Jesus is all you need to see to know she’s unfit to be leading a church or preaching in the name of God. The devil doesn’t need to worry about her because she’s doing his work with a smile. It’s pathetic sad and wholly unchristian.
Excellent playing dr price may god blessed you abuntely james from south africa
Lisa y llanamente una herejía. No traten de adaptar a Jesús a sus vidas, adapten sus vidas a las enseñanzas de Jesús.
False teacher
Always gladdened to see a fellow African American classical organist. Loved the Bach …one of personal favorites to play. Hella fun!
rotten fruits of the sin of protestantism.
Your wedding was Beautiful Jessica & Jonathan, thanks for sharing! God Bless you both!
I am so happy to have found this after hearing Stephen play the organ here in Victoria, Canada this past weekend. How wonderful to enjoy some of the same pieces here in this recording. The Erland Hilden piece, in particular, really captivated me!
Wonderful performance of the Handel Organ Concertos! 😁
Well rendered.
Unified
Randomly came across a pic of an organ online & was surprised at how many bits & bobs there are! Ended up on your video bc I wanted to know how the heck ppl have the coordination to play it hahah. Thanks for breaking it down in layman’s terms & satiating my curiosity! (I’ve never seen an organ IRL, and v rarely in movies/pics, so in my mind’s eye it was just a bigger piano w/ pipes somewhere haha)
The video is only until the intermission. I was very curious how the Lumiere would sound.
Very sorry for that error. The entire concert video is now posted here: th-cam.com/video/MDgCAEWmN1Q/w-d-xo.html
Awesome 👍
Beautiful song 😊
I liked the message .From the way she spoke seemed sincere .I see the spirit of God in her - love , joy ,peace and meekness .
Dr Price is a fabulous organist! Thank you for sharing his recital online. I hope to play again in the US soon.
Wonderful concert!
No sound!
its a pipe or electronic organ??
I'd like to know about those pedal reeds that are up against the wall behind him.
C’est magnifique! Salutations cordiales depuis le nord du Québec au Canada.
What is the purpose of the 2-2/3? Muddles clarity? Borrowing in this instrument? Thank you.
The organ sounds good, I watched the demo by Mr Ortloff, without the pews and furniture installed, still commands the space well!
Beautiful sounding organ :) Not sure on the very wide console though. The drawstops look awkward to reach. Really no need for them to be laid out like that either - it’s not a European tracker organ from the 17th century!
It's so good to see a good supply of thumb pistons on a newer pipe organ these days. It offers greater flexibility for the creative organ player.
Wonderful sounding organ! Exceptional clarity and purity. The “instrumentation” is spot on. Organist is quite a virtuoso! Thanks for the post.

The hymn he is playing with the strings is Deck thy soul with gladness
Beautiful sound I can only imagine what it will sound like in the church.
Great video coverage.....thanks, Tom, A quality event in true St. Dunstan form.
I would like to start the comment section by warning anyone who is about to watch this video not to bother nor waste their time. I myself have not watched 1 second of it. Why? Because anytime you see a gay pride flag hanging outside a church you will know that the gospel of that church has been corrupted and Truth will not be found. They will be preaching only things which you Want to hear instead of things that you Need to hear. Beware of these false places.
I love the trem!
I should show this to my grand son...he is on his way with piano lessons. I started with the organ at 10 years old, he as well.
Well done. Thank you:-)
Why do people who do these organ demonstrations rarely give the specification or at least a link to the specification? As organists, surely they'd be understanding of other organists/enthusiasts interest in the basics of the instrument's tonal capabilities! It's infuriating!
Totally agree!
Is it possible to get the stop list, please?
Its usually easy enough to look up on the pipe organ database or even the builder's own web site... in many cases the church itself has it on their web site. Because people are lazy on both sides of it, here's the details which I found in a simple look on Ortloff's web site, it simply has all the typical stops just about every other organ it's size has; Opus 2 - St. Dunstan's Episcopal Church, Shoreline, WA 2020 Our Opus 2, of 16 stops and 18 ranks, was commissioned in late 2018 by St. Dunstan's to replace a failing second-hand pipe organ installed by church members into what was originally intended to be the church hall. The Great and Pedal divisions are housed in a freestanding case of quartersawn red oak, placed front and center in the church. The Swell division is housed behind the upper case, in the former attic above the sacristy. Variable pipe scaling for the two choruses was employed to meet the acoustical demands of the relatively small room. Each pipe is voiced to produce beautiful, unforced tone, both in solo and ensemble registrations. All new principals and flutes are of 94% lead, save the Swell Principal of spotted metal. The Stopped Diapason is a generously-scaled wooden stop. The facade pipes, as well as interior 8' basses and strings are of 50% polished spotted metal. Pipework was supplied by Russell & Company, Shires Organ Pipes, and Organ Supply Industries. Jonathan Ortloff voiced all flue pipes; reeds were voiced by Christopher Broome. The Great and Pedal speak on 3" wind pressure; the Swell flues speak on 3.5" pressure, and the reeds 5". Shop construction began in early 2019, and the organ was delivered and installed in August, 2020. Tonal finishing was completed in October, with assistance from voicer Duane Prill. I dont understand why new pipe organs have these large consoles except for looks. There's really nothing inside with everything being digital now. All connected is a network cable and power going to the console. They could have a keyboard with a touchscreen holding all of the stops.
You would be surprised how much stuff is still in there. Also, a tablet can be fidgety when changing things on the go, which is why its mostly with haptic feedback.
if it was more shallow, it would tip over if someone bumped into it
Interesting. Nice instrument. Gifted young man.
I could imagine accidentally selecting a wrong stop when reaching for another stop quickly compared with stop knobs. Also, I can see more things going wrong with a touchscreen than a stop knobs. Finally, stop knobs look nice.
Well, the consoles would typically be screwed down to the floor, if it's to be moveable it's attached to the platform, they wont just tip over if someone bumps into them. @@connor_flanigan
I took one look at the silly mask and heard the muffled inaudible voice and switched off
Great sound. I imagine one of the challenges of voicing any organ is considering the differences between how loud and bright the stops sound in an empty church versus when it is filled with furniture and the congregation.
