It vexes me that his artwork is so popular. I mean, strictly speaking it may be accurate, but it has a coldness to it that misses the feel of the books. Using his illustrations would stale the reading experience for first-time readers

Stunning book. I do wish publishers would stop printing on 2 pages. Why not print it landscape on 1 page. Something gets missing when there is a page break in the middle. That's my only issue with these stunning books. Other than that, this is a gorgeous book
