How does Marcel get his tone? It's unlike a regular P Jazz bass. If you just search someone playing the same guitar it sounds nothing like this.

It's always tragic when someone takes there own life, but it hurts even more when that person is someone who you admire and aspire to be like. I wish that he had been able to work through whatever was hurting his heart. He left behind some people that really loved him and admired him, both colleagues and fans.

Marcel was one heck of a guitar shredder as well. I think he played all the leads on the "Human Clay" albums with Jeff Scott Soto. But he grew up with Yngwie, so it's no surprise I guess...

Saw Marcel with Rising force along with the Johanson brothers just an incredible lineup great underrated under looked player RIP.

Very impressive. I've heard about the guy and his talent, but it showed above my expectations. Hard picking and very massive riffs. Moreover his versatility in classical and blues. His style lacks nowadays. RIP MJ.
