I was a little bit older on my 1st car. I gotten a 1998 Ford Contour SE in light denim blue in mid October 1999. I was 29 years old. I didn’t get my license in mid December 1999. I failed the first test in mid November 1999. I passed the 2nd test. I have my own car both tests. I did wanted a 1991 Geo Tracker in red in early July 1999. My mother said no because of the miles on it was almost 90,000 miles. Even in the early spring 1999 that I saw a 1992 Ford Explorer 2-door blue SUV for $10,000. That vehicle would have been cool for me since I liked blue. I did wanted a 1999 Ford Escort in this darker blue in a sedan. It didn’t have power windows. Hand cranked windows. I was used towards a Ford Escort. My mother had a station wagon Escort and my sister had a 1997 Ford Escort ZX2 in black. I’m glad that I didn’t get the Escort. I saw 3 1998 Ford Contours in the lot. I liked the black one because of the low mileage in the car. I ended up with the light denim blue one as my 1st car. It was very good 1st car. I don’t have that car no more. Now I drive a 2020 Ford Escape SE in black. I have it almost 2 years mid next month. The car was 2 years old and had a little bit over 21,000 miles on it when I got it. Everything was new towards me. I did figured out on using Apple Car Play on my own. I was not quite 100% on it. It took me about 2 weeks on the controls on the steering wheel. A couple times that I stick my house key in the ignition but, it is a push starter. Even getting used to the dial automatic transmission. It was easy for me on the Apple Car Play for my music from my iPhone. I even liked this one screen that I used to have for Apple Car Play. It was pink and red on a black background. I liked the screen on dark mode. My sister drove around in a rental 2023 Ford Escape. She didn’t used the Apple Car play in it to listen to music from her iPhone. It was different from what she is used to.

The fact you’re 18 , probably 19 by the time I’m seeing this and you’re teaching me ( I’m 22 going to be 23 next month) stuff about a car that I didn’t know just made me subscribe 😩🤍 thank you for this video pretty 🥰

No savings, and I was broke after every check lol. I’m taking the rest of this year and next to really put my foot down to be financially responsible to get myself a car and apartment and take saving money and budgeting seriously. I got my nose done when I was 19 and repierced at 22 . I just got my industrial piercing not too long ago and it’s healing slowly .. it’s a long process for the industrial so please be careful . It’s painful as well when snagged , trust me I HATE IT . The piercings look good though 🥹 .

If you are going to lease or loan a car you do need credit there are places that will take you without credit but those tend to be the really shitty deals also a good tip if one does not have a credit union get a credit union so that way you can get a loan through your credit union and not through the dealership. If one is paying for a car in cash they do not need credit simply because they are not paying off on the car it is being paid in full.

this is so informative!! i have about $4k saved for my first car and i’m looking at a 2019 . All these taxes, processing fees, and tag fees are confusing. My income is very good at the moment. I saved this money in just 2 months but unfortunately I dont have credit , i started a little late in the grown folks journey. (i’m 19) idk if i should put down the entire 4k or put up half and use the rest for fees
