New subscriber one question is the 24 truly noticably that slow? I was thinking it would have to be detuned and figured it had to be detuned a lot since it shares so many engine qualities with the Honda which is know to have a ton of grunt. I know the YZ is a monster but there's people claiming the stock kawi feels like it's a heavy 350... I have a 20 and I love it and was looking to upgrade
Hey what’s up! Thanks for subscribing. By no means is it slow it’s just linear from bottom to top it has a lot of power just doesn’t hit hard making it like a 350 power delivery just better because it’s a 450! Ofcourse this is just its out of box stock form. For SX I’ll need short bursts so I’ll have to do an exhaust system and maybe a dif map for more bottom end. I’ve only ever ridden kawis but this is the best handling bike I’ve ever ridden so far.

Yeah any mods will be Bottom or mid no need for top. Awesome stock vet bike that won’t loop out on from bottom hit so need for one of those half bike 350’s!

Oh yeah many hours spent at Pala and SoCal tracks. I live in Texas now but looking fwd to spending some time back in Cali these next few upcoming weeks to do some motor testing with these bikes.
Every guy who makes the gate in supercross is amazing and I can tell you love the sport so I know you got heart good luck this year

Dude how do you privateers make any money? I feel like you’ve been trying to make mains for over 10 years. Do your sponsors get you by?
My sponsors with bikes n parts definitely help me not come out of pocket to have the right equipment needed to race. RJC Racing has helped me with entry fees and getting my bikes to the races thru transport teams amongst other ppl along the way that offer to help and are down for the Privateers. I’ve learned how to use credit card points from everyday life towards flights n hotels and have met so many friends along the way to crash with when I’m in town for races. Even not making mains every wknd (although i have 7times in the 450 class) you still get paid for top 40. Between AMA, Kawasaki, & O’Neal contingency you’ll make around $2k a wknd. I’ve always had various jobs, but the last two yrs I’ve worked a sales manager job an auto hail damage repair company in Texas and have made 2-3x more than i ever have racing. So i actually do both at 33yrs old and still nothing beats racing. i wish i could try and make top 20 Main Events with the best in the world for the rest of my life.
