I think the part that connects to the flange of the robot should also be inclined. For example, the flange part should be flat, with a circular inclination of 45° starting just below. When the diameter of the circle is revealed, the fingers should be positioned. You can think that the part to be connected to the flange of the robot will be flat and that the dome will start from the origin point, which will reduce the contact surface. It can only be strengthened if the mounting screws are fixed at a 45° angle to the dome. So what will this give us? I don't want to be around when someone runs the Wastemaster in that sink! Seriously, that's a nice demonstration of the versatility of soft robotics. The TH-cam algorithm does not seem to have shared it very much for some unfathomable reason. Thanks.
