Such a cute little city, and while the location is advantageous from a shipping point of view, it's awe fully isolated and dull from a living point of view, especially if you're use to a bigger city. Seems Halifax city council is stuck in the past and consistently turns down any modern construction and infrastructure proposals. Until they begin thinking big, they'll never grow. The sad part is, their biggest argument, and fear, is loosing their unique atmosphere, but even in a city the size of here (Toronto), I know you can build anything you want, without loosing any cultural identity, unless you allow it to happen. Every large city has its own unique traditions, it's a shame Halifax prevents its progress, which I know would attract much more business, and make the city shine. Granted, I'm no city planner, but a city dweller with a passion for growth, while maintaining cultural identity. As I said, I'm a Torontonian, but LOVE Halifax, I only wish I could help it show it full potential
