If anyone buys the Sea Doo, your in for a lifetime of repairs, epic dealer excuses, warranty denials, and Titanic type drama on the lake (yep they sink, all the time). Sea Doo's have no where near the quality of a Yamaha or Kawasaki. I will never buy another Bombardier product ever again. Total junk! Manufacturer RPM limiters are in place per an agreement with the government... they all are programmed to hit the same top speed. This comparison just shows that both are in compliance. Not impressed

@Isi624 : you don't know wat tour talking about. Ducati's do need more care compared to japbikes. But the one thing they never need is 2 adjust valves because of desmodromic system of forced valve open en closing.

most top spec ducatis will piss alover a fat busa, the torque of a l twin engine is massive compared to a four, not only that the hyabusa probably weighs about as mutch as a ford mondaeo, with a caravan on the back, dukes torque starts at the bottom, the busa will only start to pull when the engine reaches 45 million rpm, i have ridden both, and prefer the duke anyday

@lsi624 don't know where you're taking your stuff to get maintained, here at the DEALERSHIP even its $650 for the valve adjustment , chain adjustment, and fluid changes...its more than 400 bucks, but its not a grand at least

I own an Aprilia Mille-R and honestly would never entertain the idea of purchasing a Ducati...They are just too much trouble when it comes to owning a motorcycle...$1000 valve adjustment ?....I just had my V60 adjusted and it cost $400 including 4 spark plugs and a air filter.

ducatis are not meant to be drag bikes, oviously a big fat busa that weighs 550 lbs and has a bulky engine is faster on the staightaways but a 380lb ducati with a more compact efficient engine will smoke it on a track, somone should make a video of a busa racing a 1198 at like monza, it would be a joke

drag racing bikes isnt like drag racing a car, if either of those bikes wrapped the throttle they would end up on their arse, you have to be so gentle with these machines its untue, the reason the duke won was because of balls and skill.

That Ducati was only a PS1000LE for those who know. It's not suppose to be a fast bike. The rider did a great job.
