Hi college kiddo here I have ordered door dash a couple of time a lot of the time dashers don’t realize that a lot of college dorms don’t have elevators I live on the 5 th floor of my college and it takes me a good 4-5 min to get to the ground level because my dorm is on the opposite side of the stair wells and there are people constantly moving around during certain times especially if they have late evening to night classes and the halls aren’t very wide to easily pass each other we do appreciate it when you do wait especially if the dorm has no visitors or deliveries in the building after certain hours like mine all guests and deliveries must be made before 5pm otherwise you have to go get it from outside and my roommate ordered DoorDash and the person delivering his food started to yell at him because it took him 10 min to get to them because he has a broken foot and I wasn’t there to go grab it for him so he had to go get it
