We took a walk that night, but it wasn't the same We had a fight on the promenade out in the rain She said she loved me, but she had somewhere to go She couldn't scream while I held her close I swore I'd never let her go Tell me what you wanna know Oh, come on, oh, come on, oh, come on There ain't no motive for this crime Jenny was a friend of mine So come on, oh, come on, oh, come on Oh, oh, oh I know my rights, I've been here all day and it's time For me to go, so let me know if it's alright I just can't take this, I swear I told you the truth She couldn't scream while I held her close I swore I'd never let her go Tell me what you wanna know Oh, come on, oh, come on, oh, come on And then you whisper in my ear "I know what you're doing here" So come on, oh, come on, oh, come on There ain't no motive for this crime Jenny was a friend of mine Oh, come on, oh, come on, oh, come on Oh, oh, oh
You were standing with your girlfriends in the street Falling back on forever, I wonder what you came to be I was new in town, the boy with the eager eyes I never was a quitter, oblivious to schoolgirls' lies When I look back on those neon lights The leather seats, the passage rite I feel the heat, I see the light Miss Atomic Bomb Making out, we've got the radio on You're gonna miss me when I'm gone You're gonna miss me when I'm gone Racing shadows under moonlight Through the desert on a hot night And for a second there we'd won Yeah, we were innocent and young Cast out of the night, well you've got a foolish heart So you took your place but the fall from grace was the hardest part It feels just like a dagger buried deep in your back You run for cover but you can't escape the second attack Your soul was innocent, she kissed him and she painted it black You should have seen your little face, burnin' for love Holdin' on for your life All that I wanted was a little touch, A little tenderness and truth, I didn't ask for much, no Talk about being at the wrong place at the wrong time Miss Atomic Bomb Making out we've got the radio on You're gonna miss me when I'm gone You're gonna miss me when I'm gone Racing shadows under moonlight We're taking chances on a hot night And for a second there we'd won Yeah we were innocent and young The dust cloud has settled, and my eyes are clear But sometimes in dreams of impact I still hear Miss Atomic Bomb, I'm standing here Sweat on my skin And this love that I've cradled Is wearing thin (Miss Atomic Bomb) But I'm standing here and you're too late Your shock-wave whisper has sealed your fate It feels just like a dagger buried deep in your back (it's a proving ground) You run for cover but you can't escape the second attack (and you turn it to chance) Your soul was innocent, she kissed him and she painted it black (on a loser's game) You should have seen your little face, burning for love, (Miss Atomic Bomb) Holdin' on for your life But you can't survive (All that I wanted was a little touch) When you want it all (A little tenderness and truth, I didn't ask for much) There's another side (Talk about being at the wrong place at the wrong time)
Why is people talking about Brandon dance ? Why? This is a freaking Rock and roll band! Got it? Rock band...! Not A boys band, this aint Nsync or back street boys , is a Freaking Rock band! Stop with the dancing shit!
Isn't it amazing that this song was released in 2012 but the whole music and storyline behind the lyrics feel like it was something happened in the 80s, it feels like they want tells a story that happened in the 80s
Next time I go to a concert, I'm debating if whether or not I should film it. I always do (only ever been to two concerts; both Cimorelli!). However, both times, I hold my phone off to the side - I lined up the shot making sure it'd be good composition. Then, I simply enjoy the concert with my own eyes. I like recording because of the things that happen before the songs - the speeches, the stories, the empathy. Can't get that anywhere else. If I wanted to see a recording of a concert, I'd do what I'm doing now, go on TH-cam
Glad I found a live performance where it doesn't sound like they're playing at a faster BPM.

I actually like this version better than the original... you can hear the instruments a lot more 🫡

How does this video only have 40000 views after 12 years? It should be in the millions.
This was peak killers with Dave and Mark on the front line with Brandon.

I tried to play Mr Brightside on a guitar and it was mission impossible...
This is the sequel to Mr Brightside. Check out the the music video

1:14 Brandon missed the lyrics. The lyrics at 1:14 is “That was the turning point. That was one lonely night.”
Great tune
A banger! Gets me through the day!
Forgot the lyrics?
No, solo entró a destiempo

Puede ser que un tema tan cursi rockee tanto?

He sounds sooo much like Robert Smith from the Cure, it's uncanny!! Love it.
Never really got into the album version, but this live version makes me fall in love with it instantly. Amazing.
Who needs autotune? Not Brandon.

Simple song, but with vivid and intense lyrics. Combined with the power and skill, I feel like this is the Killers' "Thunder Road".
Ótima banda, grande música...! Ciro2022 TrabalhistasDoBrasil
Fave Killers song!!
One of the many reasons why I love MAB's live performances is because they allow us to hear the song. Like, UNTIL THE END.
