There is a small correction here.. you said db file name convert will work with same directory structure … it is not.. if we have different file structure also it works but in that case we have to mention the whole path inside parameter file

We can do the same for 19c version as well no,?? Have you tried? Succeeded??

In real time if you try to clone the existing database in same server with different db name will it try to bring down the existing database.

You are restoring in the same server . Is not necessary to give db unique name parameter .
