How it's going? Any good compared to Milwaukee extended reach?
I personally prefer the Dewalt just for the handle and trigger however I think they compete well with each other. Not much difference between the two besides personal preference.
Bought the Milwaukee before, online, didn't like the bulky body....& Paddle trigger...
Ellen mayo Milwaukee shot themselves in the foot with that stpid tool. Get a 20 v impact wrench like a MAN.
Power-wise, not comparable, I believe.
No they are not. The DCF923 has a max of 450ft and the 2562-20 has a max of 550ft. The original Gen 1 2554-20 only had a max of 250ft. The 2562-20 had a massive gain in power over the Gen 1. The DCF923 was only shown for size comparison from a competitor. Thanks for the comment.
Got something to cool show you day
Shallow broaching is standard in professional level sockets: Proto, Snap On, MAC, all have it standard and that is why Icon are manufactured that way. Alot of people do not understand that for some reason.
Nice to know. I had heard a lot of people talk about it on these sockets but I had little understanding of why it was a big deal myself. Thanks for the comment.
👍 Godspeed
The set is well worth $150
At the shop I work out we currently have four sets of those a Matco set a ez red an icon set and mountain set they’re all exactly the same except they are #Warranty different
Dewalt 12v will never succeed with those giant batteries
The battery used in this short is a 5ah as it was the only one I had close the 3ah and 2ah are much slimmer.
I'm just not a fan of the battery profile or how big the head is relative to milwaukee, which really sucks cause everything i own is yellow.
Are you talking about the ratchet or something else 🤔 😅😅😅
Has anyone found out what pass-through sockets will would work?
Review please its one year
An update will be out soon. Sorry for the wait.
Does it have 1/4 inch to change into that ? Thank you
This version does not but there is a 12v version that does I plan on posting a video on it soon.
I should buy that one instead of malwaulkee.
Just bought one 🥳
Do you not just pull out the anvil every time you need to change sockets ?
No it stays in place
No the Milwaukee does that but the DeWalt is locked in nice
@@bigfootwojak4393 Milwaukee has new anvils that fix that free to any owner.
@@bigfootwojak4393 Milwaukee has since fixed that with new anvils available for free to any owners and now shipped with new ones.
I also have a 12v hyper tough impact driver for work since if I loose it I won’t suffer a great loss because it’s cheap. It’s fallen off ladders a whole bunch of times it still works great. No fiddling with that one it doesn’t miss a beat, the trigger is kinda bad but I don’t mind it. Thanks for the video and sorry to hear that it’s not working how it’s supposed to. 🤞🏻 hopefully mines doesn’t turn out the same because I have a really bad ocd.
Hmmm sometimes it doesn’t turn on, if that happens with mines I would call Dewalt and send it in to get it replaced and if it’s still within the first 30 days I’d send it back to Amazon. Or take it back to whatever store you purchased it at. That whole fiddling with it thing will for sure piss me off and I might accidentally slam it to bits.
Thanks for the Video, Just ordered me one of these Toys
Can’t believe there isn’t a line of pass through sockets from dewalt yet. They’re 16mm not 17mm like those Astro nano sockets. Hell even Milwaukee their competition has their own pass through socket. Come on dewalt 🤦♂️ I have the ratchet though it’s pretty nice.
Is it better than. The new milwaukee fu3l ratchet
Personally I prefer it for the switchable anvil but it’s more of a what platform are you currently in and application question.
Seems to be better build quality than the Milwaukee insider ratchet but I can’t get over that clunky battery at the bottom.
@@Northernheros check out the torque test channel of the insider ratchet vs dewalt’s sealed head for details about the problems with the m12.
My only complaint is there's no on-board storage for the extra head
Right?
Someone with a 3d printer should capitalize on that problem
I wish the made a more compact version like the Milwaukee M12’s. I would’ve bought it over the M12
Can't wait to get my hands on one of those bad boys
5 months and no update, you've disappointed tens of people. Tens. 😢
Any new videos on this?
Hey thanks for the vid, just wanted to see if you had got some use out of it and how its holding up
Used mine for the first time yesterday, really good for building small frames and driving 5 inch lag bolts. Super lightweight yet still powerful very awesome
And it's on sale at MENARDS BARE TOOL $125
Things a beast I use it for plumbing eats thru big holes
Very nice I'm definitely going to LQQK into this DCD703.👍🏻
my whole shop is slowly turning green
I have multiple different brands but the green tools are definitely becoming more prevalent and taking over. Metabo HPT is definitely a hidden power house.
