Fancy flying part 3 or something... - KSP
I realized that this was actually an entire flight from start to finish instead of one I crashed so I figured I'd toss it up as a full video. Enjoy!

that was a fun video
Awww
Mmmmhh these are not kerbal anymore They are soup thx to the 10000 g of force lol 😂😂😂
why no one use airbrake on this game ?
I do, just not for this design. I can actually just modify this design's control surfaces to deploy in a way that makes them behave as airbrakes but I haven't made that modification yet. I also come from a time when airbrakes didn't exist in the game so I usually forget they're a thing.
they can't do this shit in war thunder 😂
lol
this is why you're the goat of ksp
We have a little silly fun now and again :3
Reminds me of the time I made a "helicopter" out of radially mounted jet engines. It went pretty high and SAS + lotsa reaction wheels kept it steady.

scummy for sure but this does have the tell tale signs of a glitch or bug in the code. If you’re using a web browser, try a different one and see if the popup still exists. If so, send feedback with screenshots and wait a months time to give them ample time to fix it and if it’s not fixed, there might actually be a case.
I refreshed the page, tested the same offer on other product pages, and it always came to this same incorrect offer when you click on that, with no way to actually get that offer. Now, it *may* be a bug, but if it is then it's one that *consistently* gives a false offer, which is illegal regardless of whether it's a mistake.
I am working on a longer form video that breaks down the *predatory* practices of Amazon but I came across this which is a pretty clear cut example of a company advertising something that is false. The rest is *technically* legal just scummy and plays on a combination of psychological manipulation and automatic selection of options to extract the maximum money from externally as possible.
the forbidden chug jug
hey that's extremely helpful
Glad you think so! I'm thinking about using it to make a battery so I figured I'd share the process.
u like coding dont u
Sure do! But this is made in blender using texture remapping to create the code rain effect from The Matrix. I suppose I technically did visual coding because I used the node editors for skybox materials.
More Global comedy, get back to NASA
I'm happy that you think this could be passed off for a real shot of our globe, but do note that the continents are arranged differently and shift over time.
ibm needs to do that thing they did with atoms 11 years ago but with bad apple
I wholeheartedly agree!
Can u drop something in suspension? Pls, i really need it to my project
I haven't had this setup for over a year, but basically it's just a magnet sitting on the bottom of the graduated frustum that pulls the magnetite down into a clump at the bottom. I used this for separating fine particles from larger ones by mixing the suspension, letting it partly settle, and then pouring off the stuff that was still floating around. It was the precursor to another project I didn't end up finishing which was intended to do automated particle separation by size and shape using magnetic fields and fluid dynamics.
Could you send the CAD file for this?
I found the arm on thingiverse a while back I don't remember precisely which one it is, I'd have to go looking again, but there's a few different designs out there. I haven't actually finished this project, as life got rather chaotic just after this.
Magnify made a video on this a while back. Also as an Australian, “bum fuck nowhere” is a pretty common expression.
the chickens own you now😭
I LOVE TACO
What is that sodium nitrate
Sodium nitrate (NaNO3) is a compound with many uses, comprised of an Na+ ion and an NO3- ion. If heated, two nitrate ions will decompose and produce two nitrite ions (NO2, which is a charged nitrogen dioxide molecule if I recall) and an O2 molecule. This makes it an oxidizer, much like potassium nitrate. This NO2 can be further decomposed into NO and O2 when paired and heated, which also further decomposes to N2 and O2 when paired and heated. The cascade of decomposition all happens below the combustion temperature of pyrotechnics for example, so you get the full decomposition chain and release all 3 oxygen atoms per unit of nitrate, which is what makes it a good oxidizer for fireworks, similarly to potassium nitrate. EDIT: I misread what the question was asking, this is actually potassium nitrate not sodium nitrate if I recall. I was boiling down the solution to increase the concentration and then I poured it into a watch glass to crystallize. Made gorgeous needle crystals.
Dawg why are you using your washer as a centrifuge
Mostly a proof of concept. I think I calculated the surface g-force at some 800g with this. Definitely usable for separating different density liquids such as for heavy water refinement if you had a multi stage setup that spun up water inside and tapped off only a fraction of it at each stage while it's at full speed. This should (at least slightly) enrich the deuterium content.
Cool!
