Miko 3 Parent Review
Hi, I wanted to post a video that shows how Miko 3 works after a few days of use. I don't find that Miko 3 works as advertised out of the box.

Miko sucks
Just ordered this for my daughter for Xmas. Regardless of the time it takes miko to learn. My daughter is 2 so even though it’s for 4- and up. I thought they could learn together. So by the time age seems more appropriate. Miko has learned my daughter’s talking and behavior around. They can grow to learn each other.
I think I’ll pass on an ai robot that is watching my son all the time 🤔
That's what I think as well. But I suppose miko2 doesn't really store personal data as it runs on pre stored data and doesn't improve with use
I hear its garbage. Almost went for it. Described by many as a weak tablet on wheels.

This definitely could be a good in sped classrooms . I am a sped teacher and I truly believe this robot 🤖 would be a more powerful tool if it did simple greetings, had some academic games on there too .

I kinda hate our MIKO but at least this parent review is realistic.
That robot voice sounds like the most boring, mundane voice ever😂. Young kids will get bored the first few hours.
Did it get any better with updates?
So, today, I went thrift shopping, and found a Miko 3, for $10. I bought it, hoping that one could install custom firmware on it, and make it into something more useful. Does anyone have anything to share? I don't want mine to be a child's toy, I'd rather it be more like a Google Assistant, or Alexa, and I'd also like to have custom faces and sounds. Any help would be appreciated.

Worst product ever, waste of money, the very next day my kid throw it in the bin. I don't know why they are saying it an AI powered. Stay away from this product.

I have always wanted one for my Child’s birthday and my Childs birthday is on the 23rd so if I do not get it on my Childs birthday then I want my child to get it for it for Christmas 🎄

Miko has been updated to play hide and seek now. (sort of, lol) I know a lot of parents have too much expectation of this robot, but they tend to forget this is a toy, and not some robot from the movie, Bicentennial Man (or the recent horror movie, Megan). If you ever want to shut him down completely, you'll have to hold his power button down for 3 seconds, otherwise he just stays on stand-by mode, and frequently wakes up with the loud noise that scares people.
Yeah I agree, i quite like the hide & seek app, its called 'I seek you'. What helped me was setting the sleep time on the parent app and that way Miko doesn't wake up from idle mode randomly. :-)

@@angelicawhite8585 the feature is called hide and seek and it has been out for quite awhile now. It simulates Miko seeking, but if your child hides too well, it will never find them. Lol
It's advertised as a robot
#1 It's a pathetic product #2 They wont take return #3 Alexa or Google Home can do far better interaction than this product Basically the company is a scam , back to back calls and not even allowing a Return ( it might not be as advertised, but atleast its not broken so we can't take it) .. Daylight SCAM FRAUD & SCAM Note : Customer Care doesnt respond till evening thru early morning .. & then ... Worstest response, mostly generic Copy & Paste types ! ... Closing Statement : This company could make more returns begging and bending rather !
Yeah, I meant to do an updated video on this. I made this one based off my interaction with it after the first week where my daughter was still playing with it. However, it quickly went downhill after that. I would love to see a class action lawsuit brought against this company.
