I follow along for every single Arctic monkeys bass line you do and do my best to play it too

The only video so far where the used strings (and the fingering automatically) seems right to me. The G string is not used at all in this riff, it sounds far to tin and trebly. Despite the fact that the overall sound here is too trebly compared to the original. But good job.

One little word of advice to make it really kick ass? Down strokes until you need to play triplets. But playing bass with a pick unless its a triplet or a gallop use down strokes. It just sounds better on bass and defines the notes more evenly. You started really good on the eighths. Then you started the alternate picking which really loses definition. Try the same song using down strokes on the eighths and see how it sounds. But for whatever reason alternate picking on bass doesnt work unless you need to for triplets which are 12th notes. Gallops too.

Firstly, fantastic playing. Being Irish we have a strong Trad. music scene and i can really recommend the album Eastwind, released by 2 famous Irish traditional player who transcribed traditional Balkan muisc with an Irish fusion! I will definitely look at getting a P5 or P5r soin, great basses.
