It is interesting how steady the (more) active regions look, in opposite to the less active surface. One part with prominences flickers, as they change size and shape qickly.

The daytime side takes the brunt of it. Flares give off X-rays that hit our planet in only a few minutes. Check the UTC conversion for your time zone.
