Volvo ratin asentotunnistimen purkua | Taking apart Volvo steering wheel angle sensor
Volvo S60 2006 2.4L 170HP ratin asentotunnistimen purkaminen ja tutkiminen. Finding out what is wrong with a Volvo steering wheel angle sensor.
So did you fix it?
Next to come, taking a look what happened...
What kinda scmuck is this, talking finnish and scrapping an SAS while eating bon bons?
EN-GLISH, hell-loooo?
I'm planning on adding English subtitles to this video at some point, now it is only in Finnish
Ei ole korjattavissa.
so what was wrong with the sensor?
He found some oily film, contaminated with a black powder, inside the "clock spring" housing. That would be bad for the optical components, but he didn't find any evidence of it on the circuit board, which seems to have a ring of photosensor switches, or on the slider which seems to be an optical component as well. The electrical connectors looked okay; the flex circuit connections might have been tested for continuity without pulling everything apart. Interesting though. I wonder what year?
@@StuckInPeg Like said in the description, this sensor was from a 2006 volvo. It had something like 232 thousand km on the clock when the sensor started to fail
