Moffat Modelers
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 25 ต.ค. 2023
We are the Moffat Modelers, and we model Union Pacific's Moffat subdivision. We model the subdivision from Denver CO, up to the eastern portal of the Moffat tunnel. We're hosted by the Forney Museum of Transportation in Denver, Colorado. We host two public run days each month (Every Second and Fourth Saturday each month), starting at approx. 10 a.m., and ending at about 5 p.m. (All times are Mountain Time).
Here you will find live streams of the public run days, historical videos of the layout, videos of the layout as it is currently (We're always working on the layout, so no two current videos of the layout will be the same), along with videos of the layout between its early, and current years of existence.
A full layout tour along with how to videos are being planned, with release dates TBD.

Without a doubt, this is one of the shortest blooper reels we've uploaded so far, and as per usual, there was more that went wrong, but we weren't always recording/having the camera in the right spot. Enjoy! Don't forget to like, comment, subscribe, and turn post notifications on so you don't miss our uploads or live streams of the run days.

HO? Never quite sure without a size reference in the picture…. Nice video!
Thanks for watching, and it certainly can be hard to tell without a size reference, and we model in N scale.
Very cool 😎
Great job Thomas, hope you guys are doing good.
Thanks Mike, and all is good both club wise, and with us.
What is the second train at 0:35 supposed to be? The one with the hopper and a single coach. I’ve seen a train like that in real life twice.
That'd be a geometry train.
I'm your 200th subscriber!
Loved the model RR action!
Enjoyed all those long freight train on that beautiful layout. None of them would fit onto my tiny switching layout 😆
Love that looong train at the beginning, cool video!
Wondeful train Rio grande ❤

Very nice. Good job.
Awesome. I really enjoyed that hopper derailing at the end of that UP unit train.
Beautiful layout otherwise!
Nice job. The layout really does have a lot of camera ready scenes.
Cool video and channel just subscribed
Great layout & great train action.
Indeed. Thanks for watching, and we're glad that you enjoyed.
Nice work Thomas!
Beautiful opening backdrop!
Track and loco wheels need cleaning more often than we think, especially after standing for awhile.
psr out here ruining miniature careers and n scale lives smdh (shakin my diesel-electric head)
Oh the joys of model railroading.
Livestream the run days?? Not with the track like that; you'd be livestreaming "stop action"! 🤣
Saw this after a day filming on my club's layout. It almost seems that the trains know when you have the camera on them - they were running perfectly until the camera comes out. Know the pain.
Amen.
Good job David, Thomas ...we must have been in Wyo this day😮
Wonderful 👏
Nicely done 🎉
From a former Minturn resident. GREAT!!
Nice layout. Is this N scale and is it a club?
It is indeed N scale, and we are indeed a club. We are hosted by the Forney Museum of Transportation in Denver, CO. The layout is open to the public on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month (Weather and club members schedules permitting) from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. mountain time.
Great Job you guys!
Very, very nice.
