Cleaning 14 Years of grease from Kitching Units
มุมมอง 456 ปีที่แล้ว
During a kitchen refit, we wanted to reuse our cupboards while the new kitchen was being installed. We took the unit down and decided to show you how easy it was to clean 14 tears of grease from the kitchen units before we reinstalled them into the Utility room. Maybe you want to move the units to a garage for storage, or you want to sell them as used but good condition units, this video shows ...

Haha. I don't care. It's Bank Holiday weekend and I did the video to help people, not to earn money. And anyway, I'm not a mechanic, I don't know what it's called, but maybe ask a lawnmower parts shop and they will help you.

I now have rounded off the nut and the plastic O ring that sits on the nut has broken. Any idea the name of that nut and o ring or washer. Where I could buy a replacement part or the name of it please Thank you

Hi mate. I just done this but when I took the nut out the rubber that goes round the nut come out in pieces broken. So I need another rubber that goes round the gold nut. Any idea what it would be called to search for it online? Thank you

its for draining the fuel out from the bottom of the carb without taking the whole bolt out (that's why it has holes in the bolt) it would remove water from the carb as petrol sits on water. Any water in the carb would make it hunt. its not magic, just mechanics.

what is this mystery bolt with holes in? is it a jet? I have a similar bolt screwed into the carb on my 25hp outboard which the engine (sometimes) cuts out when clunked into gear. I cleaned the carb but it looked pretty good in there. is this bolt is the cause of so many running problems ? Cheers.

Awesome. Seems to be a common problem with the quality of fuel these days. I have to do mine every year, and even mid season!

@@chorizo_uk There were some small particles of grit on the screw and washer. I blasted it all with carb cleaner and its as good as new!

great vid. Mine is the HH560D auto drive. Have the hunting problem but can't locate the fuel stop which I think isn't on my model or is in a different location. Do you know where it is? Thx

Hi ThePea. I'm not familiar with the model but it may not have a fuel stop/tap, in which case, you have a few options. 1. cut the pipe and put a inline tap OR if you can see the fuel pipe, maybe clamping with mole grips (with something to protect the pipe) OR disconnect the pipe from one end and block it with a bolt. Alternatively you will need to syphon out the fuel.

Thanks very much for posting this. My Hayter Harrier (about 4years old) keep stalling when trying to start it. It would run for a few second then cut out. After watch the video I took the 13mm brass screw out of the carburettor cap and removed the cap. It was actually pretty clean and so no need for carb cleaner spray or anything. I poked a piece of wire through the hole in the screw and blew through it, then replaced the cap and screw. Mower started first time and is also now running great with more steady revs. It was the start of the season so I suspect there is some sediment etc in the fuel that was blocking things. Thanks again

Really glad it helped. PS. I seem to have to do this quite often due to letting the tank run dry and sediment goes through to the carb, so always top up the fuel before you start cutting :)
