Ha! We were just there 3 days ago. And I dug in the same exact spots you were digging. I found some cool rocks. This was our second trip. We have not gone thru what we brought home yet. We also went and mined for crystals right out side of Mt Ida before coming back home to Lake of the Ozarks. Lots of crystals to be found. You may really enjoy it but the climb up the mountain where we went is no joke. It's very steep. But very well maintained trail.

Looks like you had pretty mild weather. Seems like you had a way better experience than I had a couple years ago. I still have a bucket in the back yard that I haven’t sifted through. Thanks for sharing the video.

Heck yeah, what an awesome pay to dig adventure!!! When i was at the gemfields here in Oz everyone uses a willoughby gem washer to pulsify the gems to centre of the screen.

I wouldn’t have expected that place to only cost $15. That’s pretty cool, even just for the experience. I’ve seen people just surface hunt, and some dig massive holes. Seems like some pretty nice stones can be found either way. I’d love to see how you made the saruca. Hole you had a great Christmas, Master Jeff(and fam). Happy New Year. I have diamonds from a wedding set in the '40s. Some of the diamonds flouresce red and some blue!

This is great...I always love the first timer's perspective on videos to get the raw, real reactions. You did great for what you could do with the weather the way it was. Were you able to get any of the jaspers, conglomerates, agates, volcanic tuff, different types of lamproite, amethyst, etc.? Aside from the washed gravel, you can walk out with whatever rocks you want. If you found a 50 pound conglomerate...it's yours. Just wash the raw dirt off of it, and you're good to go!

I went there once… but I was so sick at the time 🤷🏻‍♂️ think I might have had undiagnosed pneumonia. I wasn’t feeling it 😂 so we just walked some trails and looked for shiny rocks. Didn’t see any. Found an anole lizard though! That was cool. It was green when I picked it up but turned brown when it crawled on my orange shirt

One and done brother, lol, went once, enjoyed it, gonna pass on a second (unless someone takes me and pays for the rentals and entrance, lol)

Getting a diamond on your first time out there would be some fantastic luck! I've been watching diamond miner ivins for quite a few years now, and he does really well out there but he knows what he is doing and yeah things I've down hill but the heavies don't move with the rest of the lighted material. And you need to dig under all the other miners discards and get to fresh I searched gravel about 5-15 ft down dependent on where you are in the park. I'm not saying that you might not get lucky, because you might but above and beyond that requires aot of digging before you hit gravel that is unsearched! But it is fun regardless! Thanks Jeff!💕

Thought for sure that big old point was going to be clear. That peanut butter is deceiving. Glad ya found some clear stuff though. It always seems so unreal pulling crystals out of the ground no matter what. Merry Christmas ya'll!

Nice recovery on the arena.😉😂. My trick is to put the backpack down when i need a break and then i quite often find my best finds within a couple feet of the pack when I go to put it back on lol!! I gotta play catch up on a lot of channels… doh! Been missing out on a lot of good stuff it seems. Have fun in Arkansas. Hope you find some bangers!
