I am glad this showed up at this time, because is this group going to say exactly the same thing about Lawson? Especially MacArthur, who just lied about Zachariah not quoting scripture when I know for a fact that he did quote Jesus and Paul many times

I wish John could have discerned how for off Steve Lawson had gone off the rails in the last 5 years. The discussion about a traveling preacher made some sense and not being accountable to a local body made some sense, but Larson taught the Word and was "accountable" to a church through its elders?

What? John MacArthur believes in once saved always saved but not for Ravi? There is OSAS. But Calvinists distort when convenient to their argument.

There’s a huge assumption here that you presume you KNOW how the Holy Spirit works in the world today.

Only God knows who is saved and who is not. If Zacharias was one of the chosen then he will be in Heaven because once saved always saved, if he wasn't one of the chosen then he is in Hell, very simple.

McArthur is flat out wrong that Ravi never quoted Scripture. It’s a compelling observation, but happens to be completely inaccurate.

@4:05 Benefit of the local church. I became a member of my local rural United Methodist Church within one month of moving to the area. That was my mistake. Becoming a member of a church is like selecting a spouse. Take your time (make sure it's a good fit). This church was just 'not' a friendly church, i.e. I walked in one day and listened to a member back-stabbing the minister. Another occasion, I had one of the church elder's walk pass me and touch the small of my back. How dare he? I volunteered for several things, and was refused every time. P.S. Someone needs to remind John MacArthur that only Jesus Christ is judge.

Funny how Christians who believe in predestination and the eternal security of salvation suddenly care so much about what someone thought in their last seconds - as if that would change their fate. 🤷‍♂ any explenation?

John McArthur should revisit Matthew 7:5. Any Christian who makes an assertion that another person, much more a Christian is in hell is deeply out of line, and self righteous. It is God who determines this not John McArthur. He neglects to mention that King David was an adulterer and murderer and God called him a man after His own heart, Moses was a murderer, Paul sanctioned the murder of Christians, and all these people we believe experienced the grace of God to be in heaven. Ravi sinned greatly and it has impact on real victims, but his sins are no greater than John McArthur’s in the eyes of Christ. And we trust that Jesus’s blood covers sins past present and future.

News flash: if there was one sin that could possibly cause anyone to lose salvation or one work we have to do to get save or prove salvation, nobody in all human history is or ever will be saved! The bible calls the gospel a stumbling block to the Jew and foolishness to the greek. These false teachers by the way misinterpreted 1 John which is written to believers who are already saved and speaks of sin that leads to physical death--like overdosing on drugs, guess what you'll probably die.
