Conversations with an old soul, Caura Valley, Farmer Harry
I made a new friend from the Caura Valley Trini, known as Farmer Harry, very nice old guy, extremely knowledgeable about the forest, loves to cook and share food ( he would say don't come with ration) I spend some time at his location exploring the area and the trail north over the Caura Mountain, it was an extremely great experience exploring this part of the country, i was happy to hear Mr. Harry knew the trial to the Blanchisseuse road from the Caura Valley, i always heard about it and i was ask on a few occasion if i knew the trail and if it still exist, so i know now because Farmer Harry showed the way.
I was introduce to Mr. Harry by a youtuber name Lyndon Batiste,
Farmer Harry is also a youtuber.

You could find Lalaja on the blanchisseuse road not to far from Arima, the road isn't for a car but a good working car will get you in, the roads are dilapidated and muddy , The area is a former agricultural settlement, there are still a couple of gardens and housing, but it is mostly deserted. From the Lalaja South Road you can take the Lalaja Branch Trace to Guanapo or the Lalaja Paria Trail ...

Great work and content, you might be the first person to show us this depth of content on the dish and tracking station in such details. All I can I think when you were exploring the insides was, how it was when it was fully functioning with a full staff. With all the offices, it seems like they had a lot of people working at the facilities you showed! Thanks again for this!

I was in Trinidad Tobago the fall of 2008 performing for the Emancipation Arts Festival. I had a special guided tour on this exact same path up to the Falls. I was so hoping you would film that house that's on that trail closer to the beginning. I swear I remember how ominous it looked with the roots of the surrounding trees fashioned into stairs up to the house. It was something out of an adventure movie like Narnja!!💯✨️ I had a photo shoot at M. Falls. It was a Great and memorable day!!

I have been to the hummingbird haven of Shurland. Went in March 2024 with my daughter for her birthday. What a lovely place there is! Shurland reflects the Lord and his loving, gentle nature. It's relaxing and pleasant watching and feeding the sweet little birds. So many come from all over the island it's like a bird hotel and we the volunteer staff. Lol. Food was delicious too and "more-ish" juice like nectar! We sat right there where you sat to enjoy the view and hiked the trail hoping to swim, but it was too dry. Must go see. Check her contact info in the details! I only met her once and nobody asked me to say this. I just want to help. It's worth the trip. Bless her with a tip 😊
