Amazing that the various 'organizations that be' Clubman rules allow you to use paddle shifters when they are now not allowed in even Rally 1 in the WRC! Cool video, and nice job on the driving. Great to see someone having fun in these R5 cars! 👍👍 You may have covered it in one of your build videos, but I must have missed it, so; which brand and model wheels are you using (I know all R5s use 18x8s on tarmac)??

Richard, Penelope did an absolute top job and she’ll only get better if you and her Mum let her back in the car. You all must be incredibly proud and great to see a smile on her face. Hey Richard, I was the guy in the paddock with the 3 sons who you let look Inside your r5 and check out the tyres lol. Was awesome to meet you mate, great job on the weekend especially with your daughter being your co driver. Hopefully they do it again at castle combe and you come back. Ps, next time I'd love to see under the bonnet!

In the series/rallies which you compete, are you allowed to use the Mk7.5 Fiesta WRC (what would now be considered/classed as Rally 1) rear wing? Since they grant you paddle shifters, I am guessing that you could get away with that as well. Of course the strict homologation stickler, Euro rallies will not allow either of the above.

Nice one., that looked like great fun. Budget is everything. Picking 3or 4 events you really want to do is better then doing 8 or nine in a series, 6 of which are of no real interest.

Get yourself over to Ireland for a spin, Wexford stages in early September, 2 days closed roads 10 minutes off the boat in Rosslare, always a very well run event

Always enjoy the honesty. It's nice to see the comparisons with East Riding which is a fantastic event. It looks like events over here are slowly becoming more and more slick, spectator friendly and social like you see on the continent. It's easy to forget especially with COVID how most closed road events in the UK haven't ran that many times, hopefully keep improving!
