@@ervinslens Thank you! You have been encouraging me here for a long time! I can’t express enough how grateful I am for the support and kind words. When I first began this hike, I was a complete beginner to long distance hiking and overnight camping, and had to learn all the challenges one by one, and figure out how to keep going with out at the very least, making it harder than it already was.. when I decided to share on youtube, it was the same thing, I was (and still probably am) new to all of it, and there are so many little details.. as challenging as a long distance hike is, it’s the easier of the two for me, I never wanted to stop hiking. I’ve never sprained my ankle editing and uploading a video to youtube… but I have walked away from it, taken a long break. I had just uploaded what I thought was a great video, one of my favorite sections of trail, unique encounters with nature, and very few views resulted, I felt crushed (I needed to be reminded to be grateful for the views I did have) and maybe toughen up a little bit, there are countless hiking videos higher quality than mine.. you commented on that video “Absolutely marvelous upload my friend, this looks and sounds amazing!” And I don’t really know how to express how appreciative I am for every positively reinforcing comment you have left, but I should try.
