@ hmm I am thinking about buying the TOHATSU EFI 9.9 HP (NEW MODEL 2024 year) S-15” for this boat. Would I be better off buying the 20” model?

No, you can still roll up your boat with the mounts attached.

This is where we test and work on all of our outboards. but yes with it being air cooled it dose not need to be in water to start it.

the 330sl is CAT C rated this is for use insure up to 2m hight waves. so yes can be used on the sea

Yes you can run on butane but will decrease your engine life considerably because both gas don't work under same pressure and also will be difficult sometimes to cold start on butane. Butane is natural gas and propane is LPG.
