It's not the end of solar in California, It just changed the way it happens. Yeah NEM.1.0 and 2.0 were cool, and I wish that I had got in on it, but I missed the boat and got in on.SPB (Solar Power Billing) also known as NEM 3.0. It's not so bad especially since I live in the Mojave Desert and enjoy 330 days of sunshine a year. During the day I generate far more power than I can possibly use, the excess goes into a Tesla Firewall 3.0 battery. When the battery is charged the extra goes into the grid for credit. When the sun goes down, the battery takes over. If I deplete the battery before the sun comes up, then I would pull from the grid- that hasn't happened yet. I am 100% self powered daily. Best of all, in the event of an outage, my battery takes over and feeds a "Critical Loads" panel. My freezer stays powered, so do most lights in the house, and the WiFi. This whole "Sky is Falling" panic in California is completely unnecessary. People can still enjoy solar without net metering. If anything, they are better off without trading power with the grid. You know what I think is killing the solar business in California? Over-saturation. There are only so many homes in California and only so many people who can afford solar. Since all new homes are required to have solar, all that's left is older home. Sooner or later that well is going to go dry. Then what? Maybe we are getting there

The navigation in the car literally shows most of the level 3 chargers in your area, but I guess you have to hunt around for them 😂

I can tell you that this video is garbage. I also an electric vehicle that is not a Tesla is absolutely perfect. I charge at every station. None of them are not working. It's actually incredibly liberating to have an electric car and not have to care about gas prices. And it's also pretty awesome to be able to charge my car at my house. That means I don't ever stop to charge anything
