This tool pulls the drive hub off without pulling on the rotor pack bearing! We strongly recommend using this method! We also recommend REMOVING the rotor pack cover plate and press the drive hub back onto the rotor pack while supporting the shaft. This prevents any damage to the rotor pack bearings!

Yes 0.055” below flush for all the needle bearing’s.

Hi Question I have a rover L405 3.0 supercharged Once the original pullybus removed dobI have to mill down the snot end v4 heating up the new pulley on? Or? For the 3.0 It's just a heat up and slide on the water cool? Just wondering bc I read the 5.0 Has to be shaved /milled down Thanks alot
3.0 liter snouts do not require machining.
I'm about to order those and your rebuild kit, do I need to remap after installing the new pulley?

I push them in flush using the back side of a large socket and a extension. once flush I use a slightly smaller OD socket and push them in 0.055" below the surface.

New belt is not required. There shouldn't be any belt slip.
Great video, really helpful - thanks. When refitting the pulley end bearing, I used both the old bearings between the new bearing and the press instead of the old pulley end bearing and a socket or tube which worked great 🙂
I've got a 2012 tundra 5.7 with the TRD supercharger. It threw a P0333 "knock sensor 2 circuit high bank 2" code. Most likely rats chewed up the wiring harness of the knock sensor. CAn you provide any advise as to how to remove the supercharger intake cover in order to get to and replace the wiring harness underneath the cover? There are many videos on youtube showing the regular 5.7 intake cover removal but nothing that shows a proper way to remove a TRD supercharger cover. The one in your video looks exactly the same as mine so I figured you know how to take it off. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks
We don't have vehicles, just superchargers.
Is the stainless steel pulley smaller in diameter than the OEM pulley? Does it provide more boost?
Yes the pulley is smaller, it measures 58.4mm Diameter. It gives about 2 psi boost.

Thanks for the quick reply! Question would the factory TRD tune/calibration be able to handle the increase in boost? Any idea on the horsepower output with this pulley?

I feel like I should ad some grease to these bearings. What came in them is enough ?
Eaton recommends you do not add grease to the bearings. You could end up pushing the seal out when assembling. The bearings come greased and ready to run.
Is there another good way to do it if you don't have a hydraulic press?
I used a mason jar, a soldering iron, and some baby oil with excellent results.
Can you replace the back bearings or do you have to replace the rotor pack
We do not replace rotor pack bearing. We don’t recommend it, they are not made for disassemble and reassemble.
Should be able to fill the hole with grease and stick something with the same diameter down the hole. When you tap on the rod in the hole it should push the bearings out via hydraulics.
Pretty hard to get all the air out of needle bearings. That’s a better method for plain bearings.

@@rustywater3219 Use the flat side of slightly larger socket and push the bearings in flush. Switch to a socket smaller than the OD and push 0.055” below surface. Manual hydraulic press is pretty easy to control how far you push below the surface.
just ordered this rebuild kit and tool kit via your Ebay Store. I did my timing chains on my 5.0 Supersport and with the chain noise gone i clearly heard the SC grobble so i pulled the belt and spun it to confirm. Needless to say i immediately parked the ride and removed Sc to await arrival of your Eaton TVS1900 life support care package. A big THANK YOU FELLERS. cant wait to get this machine back in action.
Hi. Good evening., I cant remove mine is a m112 eaton ., I bought the puller .tools but I can't. Take them out I even take the bearings.just to make a better grip whit the bearing puller. And nothing.. and it's hard .,Did you remove the bearings from the case. Before you apply the jb weld ., or just cleaning is good enough. ❓now. Just i orden your firma 60mm Pulley for my jaguar xj 5.0 2014. I have one quatsion. I will put 60mm pulley + Ecu program. How many give horspower ? For example , only Write Ecu 30hp maximum give. Ecu+pulley change ? .....
7.5% Reduction in Diameter Gives approximately 1.5 psi additional boost! Typical Gains of 25 - 30 HP for the pulley only
How are you driving the lower bearing in without preloading it? I've followed this video twice now to a T and that bearing is ruined everytime. The force is being pressed on the inner race not the outside 🤔
I reviewed the video and nothing should cause a bearing to fail during the installation, we still use a similar method. The bearing bores in the aluminum housing do not require a heavy press, no damage to the bearings should happen. Brandon contact me at qualitysuperchargers@gmail.com.

It’s a great video but for mk2 hub it does take some force so im struggling to find an easy way to brace the shaft to press the hubs on its a great time

Yes the tool should pull the needle bearings from the TRD TVS1900 found on the 5.7. Never personally done one but everything should be the same.
Why not use a blind bearing puller?
the cup style bearing are pretty hard to get a good hold on with a blind bearing puller. You can only get ahold of the needles, you can not get ahold of the outer race. Grease gun works great if you have a hole to the back of the needle bearings. Consider this another method, not the only method.

Not sure what you mean by top ring. What model car supercharger? Supercharger case like this video or part of the snout?
@@qualitysuperchargers Its a Gen V for a GP, and for the case. In this video it looks like you pulled out a metal ring, after breaking the cage and pulling out the needles. Just wondering if mine is one solid piece or is there a ring that needs to be removed before pulling the bearing out
@jjm3001 I think your seeing the Orange Rubber seal, back side and edge might be gray. Pieces that came out. Orange rubber seal, plastic cage, needles and finally the steel outer race with the puller.

Any methods on how to press in the needle bearings in m90 gen 5 if you don't have a press. Like what other tool could I use?
You really should use a press!
Do not use air impacts or cordless impacts greater than 1/4". I use a 20 volt 1/4" Brushless Dewalt Impact. Smaller is better, it doesn't break the tool!

Pull the rear cover over the gears. support the end of the rotor shaft and press it on flush
