Is this the Best Camping and Backpacking Stove?

So I found a new stove, and bought a bunch of them to sell. I think the quality is comparable to the costly brand name ones, and this one is adjustable! paddlemedic.com

Thanks for this! Been devastated and upset my mower died but this was all that was wrong! The fuse was bad. To test i pulled fuse and replaced it with a wire to complete the circuit and BOOM it started. Off to get anew 20amp fuse now.
Mine was running just fine BUT no headlamps. I was troubleshooting the lamps getting some strange readings. For instance, both wires @ the headlamps = +12v, switch ON or OFF. That would explain why they not on but strange. The wires disappear above a metal plate above the battery. I shorted the switch wires = NO HELP. I tested the switch = OK. I hot wired a bulb = OK/WORKS. I had the key ON. I gave up. I suspected there may be a relay hidden somewhere above that plate but how to get to it? I put everything back. THEN, NO CLICK/NO START. I saw this vid, searched and found that fuse-BLOWN. REPLACED = cranked-started-headlamps ON. Great, BUT, HOW? WHY? !
Anyone know the name of that part?
Are you talking about a safety switch? You need to Disconnect the negative battery cable and put a new fuse in the holder. Now, with the key off, take a 12 volt test light and connect one end to the negative battery terminal and the other end to the negative cable end. It will light the test light if there is a short. Now you have control over the circuit and you can start by disconnecting different connectors until you find the one that turns the light off. When you do, you've narrowed it down to whatever is on that circuit. Most likely if fuse always blows this is most likely the problem and you need to check these wires Blue on the optional hour meter - Blue to the optional fuel shut off solenoid - Red to the charge regulator. - Power to power outlet port. - Orange to headlight switch.
So, there was too much dirt in there. I'm going to go try this. Stay tuned.
Thank you ended up being SAME issue! 👍🏼
Killer video, thanks for all the awesome advice! Came here via your podcast with Wade on the Shuttle Drive
So I bought mine a few days ago and it started and ran and cut fine when I bought it only thing I didn’t do was test pto which turned out to be fine I went to cut my grass yesterday and no crank no start I hooked a jump box and jumped the solenoid with screw driver and it fired any tips?
But why is the fuse blowing?
Good video and nice kayaks!
Thanks man! I’ve been using my push mower and frankly I can’t do another summer of that in the backyard. So I’m trying this out for sure!!
I have a different model mower so I didn't have the layout of parts you do but you gave me a huge clue on what to do! I got mine started because of your video, thank you
stopped by to find link to your store and website says closed, is this temporary?
Oops
I found an easy way around the safety switch. I got a new switch, unplugged the wiring harness from the old one - which I left in place - and plugged the harness into the new switch. Then I wired the bottom plunger closed, and now it works dependably every time. I no longer must depress the clutch/brake lever in order to start the engine.
Ive had the same problem with 2 different models recently. It seems to be a common problem on these Husqies....what could be the common causes of so many shorts?
Hey now you have a new battery and you figured it out without taking it to the shop
How to replace fuse on solenoid wire to fuse
Let me start mower was running in park. I walked away and it died. Nothing I checked the connections all seems ok When i jump the solinoid the mower turns over. I am at a loss.
So i cked all the connection I will ck again Batter good. If i jump the solinoid the mower turns over. I am at a loss.
So mine was running and in the middle of the yard boom just stoped running i will look at these connections next.
Husqvarna blown fuse is probably a pinched headlite wire or the wire tie down dry rots cracks off and melts the head lite wire on engine. That blows fuse and causes no start. So check the insulation on the head lite harness
Do a video! 😀😀
Thanks! I too had just gotten a Husqavarna on the cheap and it doesn't turn over or anything and just ordered the ignition switch and also just bought new spark plugs and will try this out as soon as I can! Thanks a bunch, man! Rock on dude! #DogeDope

Is this in TN?
Yes!
Ya'll are crazy 💪
Adventures don't wait for you.
Thanks for the simple video Same problem, but located in different location
Where was yours buddy? Trying to find mine
Where dis you get that door
My Husqvarna's switch on the "clutch" pedal (must be depressed to start) is the problem. I can re-seat it and it functions normally. But it is undependable and intermittent. I wonder if the switch should be replaced? It's a 2017 24V48 with only 83 hours.
I have had the same problem and I finally reached under the mower in the area of where the clutch (brake) petal interlock is and pulled out a lot of grass, a few sicks and dirt. After that the mower cranks and starts and runs fine. This has happened more than once and each time cleaning under the mower in the area of the start interlock has fixed it....
where did you purchase this item
Excellent information
Cheers
should of , could of......
I live in New England where folks wear drysuits or drytops 10 months a year. What is your opinion on cutting a neck gasket for chest compressions? Will an intact neck gasket impeding blood return increase or decrease the effectiveness of chest compressions?
I'm not sure about neck gaskets, but I do know that cervical collars can impede venous return and increase intracranial pressure. It's probably a good rule of thumb to loosen/cut a neck gasket. However, it shouldn't interfere with providing rescue breaths, so I would do that first.
Did you swim on the last drop ?
Nope!
Nice shoes.
Mine is a 2019 YTH24V54, hopefully this is what's happening to mine. One day after two weeks of not being able to use it, I tried it for the heck of it and it cranked. So, I did the lawn since it was running. Then a few days later, thinking it would crank, I got on it and nothing again. I changed the ignition switch, the seat switch and charged the battery ovwr night but nothing happened. Someone suggested that the starter might be bad, but the lights don't flicker when I try to crank.
Loose connection wiggle harness in different areas turning the ignition over after each wire wiggled. 1st do the connectors then isolate the wire when u find which connector wiggled starts the engine could just be corrosion on the spades in connector scrap each spade and add dielectric conductive grease to prevent the corrosion Originally they plate the spades and females but heat and condensate in time causes the plating to wear off n then corrode
Thank you... I checked those wires a dozen times and nothing happened... Watched your video and decided to give them one more try... Bingo!... I was just getting ready to remove the starter and you saved me from that task!
Be careful or cornelison and coyly will have his revenge on you. They have wanted to for years
I'm not sure I understand. Could you elaborate?

Just teasing ya. He’s worthless too
I always check simple stuff first. Worked great last time so I'm hoping it's easy fix. Going check fuse and solinoid connection when I get home. I put new voltage regulator on it last year. I will check that also. Turn key to nothing so I'm hoping it will fire when I get home. Thanks 🙂
I have new battery and it's not locked up. Going check fuse tonight.
This is what I'm going to try next thank you good video
Floyd, I'm not gonna watch any more of your videos if they're not in 4k.
Sucks for you!
I keep a cat TQ on my PFD belt 👌🏻
Did I miss it, or did you never give the name of the product, price, and where it can be found? I use a similar product from NRS, but it’s not as lightweight and compact as this one. I also love Kokatat’s changing pad, but it’s even bulkier and doesn’t draw up into a bag. Thx. 👍🏼
Hey Kevin, the link is in the description I believe! paddlemedic.com
Thank you! I tested and tried everything I could think of and nothing worked for me, cleaned my solenoid connection after watching this and it worked! 🤦♂️ thanks for the video!
You're awesome dude 🤙🏽
Working of a friends. He put in a new battery, new starter, new solenoid. Still no go. I am going to have to pull her apart and track it down.
I put in a new battery, starter, spark plugs, fuel filter, drained old fuel. Still nothing from the keys. The engine doesn't turnover when I jump the solenoid either. The starter just spins. I'm thinking it may be a bad ignition switch? Let me know if you track your problem down. Mine was running, then started surging before it stalled out and didn't turn back on.
@@JagexAnarchy I haven't done mechanic work in yeas but if the starter is spinning and the engine is not tuning over then the starter is not engaging. It sounds like the solenoid might be bad. I don't know how much they cost but you have gone this far you might want to replace that. It could be the ignition, you might be able to jump that. In the one I am working on there are other switches that could cause it not to start like the one under the seat. There is a neutral safety switch that could be bad. I haven't gotten to either one of those yet. Have you checked the ground from the battery to the chassis where it bolts to the chassis? If it is really dirty, a bad ground can cause the problem also. I took the one off the one I am working on and cleaned it all up but it is not that. I would do that before continuing to eliminate that. This is the first mower I have ever looked at, in the past with cars, when the starter would spin and not engage it was always the solenoid. I don't get up to my buddies house much but when I do, if I find the problem I will get back to you. My buddy has no clue how to use a multimeter so he is counting on me. I hope not to let him down. Any bad ground may cause the problem. Look for broken or frayed black wires. I hope this helps?
@@JagexAnarchy Sometimes when it is surging it is just running out of gas?
Good vid, love the sound of the river.
