Beta Soul_Gameplay (mode: normal)
Gameplay of Beta Soul played on Game Boy Pocket.
Mode (difficulty): normal (normal)
Side note: this was really challenging. I stopped counting my attempts of optimizing and trying, but I'm glad I finally beat the game on normal mode. My strategy was to prioritize increasing attack first, followed by critical multiplier and critical chance. In the end, I was pretty lucky at some points in the run.
Recorded via GB Interceptor (1.2.0) in 60fps without blending mode.

I followed every step and my Gameboy pockect still cant read the flash cart is that normal?
In most cases these flashcards are delivered with an almost dead battery (top right corner inside of the flashcard). Replace it with a fresh one (CR1220). The boot process of this flashcard requires a lot of energy, which is drawn from both the flashcard battery and the Gameboy Pocket batteries.

@@Exus_Games didnt work and the Gameboy is starting to make wierd noises maybe the caps and becoming bad idk
@@carlosramone40 the 5V regulator leads to increased noise, but rather subtle. Make sure that the cut pin 6 don't touch anything as well as the soldered connections. Turn up the contrast at maximum (resulting in normal contrast as the power is now regulated differently). Also you battery connections should be clean. Have you tried a regular cartridge? Sorry that I can't help you further :( I'm not professional, only a fanatic
@@Exus_Games i noticed that i can no longer make the screen go full black, and i have only left the bit of the pin 6 that is conected to the regulator, the noise problem happens even with volume at 0 do you know if thats normal? It works just fine with a regular cartridge only does the noise tho No problem at all your video was awsome to figure out where to solder what
