One of my absolute favorites off of the new record. I particularly like the lyrics “ for so long I have waited, so long that I almost became…just a stoic statue fit for nobody. I don’t wanna get in your way”. It speaks to me about the years I spent in addiction pushing people away so I wouldn’t hurt them. Great cover brother!! I think this band is simply brilliant and Vessel's vocals are kinda mesmerizing. You definitely did this song justice. I swear I only recently discovered Sleep Token like 4 months ago and I'm absolutely addicted to them!! There is simply nothing quite like this band and they seemlessly jump from one genre to the other. Their sound is kinda like a rollercoaster of emotion and they really make some beautiful music IMO. I just love how they transition from soft and melodic into such a heavy and gritty sound! It's so badass.

@@darkistofficial really? I didn't know that. That's amazing. I know Trent Reznor from Nine Inch Nails writes EVERYTHING for his band too...he just has members that tour with him to play the parts. Man I really envy people with such talent lol. I mean I play guitar and bass a bit, I'm pretty decent but still really a novice. I like to play as a hobby but I guess I'll leave making music to the big boys lol. I've been wanting to start doing guitar and bass covers to upload on youtube tho...I purchased an audio interface and all that like 2 years ago to do that but still I've never recorded a thing yet lol. Very solid, well done. I've heard a few covers on YT and this is defo one of the better ones. I don't think I've heard anyone nail the hip-hop bit in the middle though - you don't really sing it the same way, it's more about matching the words to the rhythm

Hey brotha, I've got this song I wrote years ago that it's been my dream to make it a reality. I'd love for you to hear it and see if it's something you'd put your vocals on. I have another vocalist that can put screams on it and with your cleans it would bring everything together nicely.
