stunning vid! when exactly did you go there and by what boat? did you dive all week on daedalus reef?
Filmed in June 2015. If you want to see hammerheads you must stay on site for 5-6 days. Dive depth 30+. The reef itself is also worth exploring, especially the many wonderful clown-fish. Specifically, this company was Deep Blue Cruises, but my favorite is Sea Serpent (M/Y Excellence, etc.). Departure from Port Galib.

Hey did you all book excursions before or when you got there? and did you go through the hotel or someone else?
+Vincent Miles As we are divers, tour orders been taken by beach diving shops witch there are many, but the recommendation is look private trips. Before the start of trip bus touring around 5-7 hotels and that are exhausting. Same is on the return.

Superb video. We are going to Maratua later this year- how did you find the diving in general? Strong seas? All the best.
If you stay at Nabucco Island than you have barracudas, sharks ect. if at Nabucco Nunukan nice diving and than you have easy acces to Sangalaki (Mantas). Diving is good, big & small staff and if you catch right high tide / low tide than you have great feeling. No divers what mean no one afraid. In general 9 points.
