black sabbath live ian gillan
Sabbath with Ian Gillan on vocals.
Short lived line up,one album and one tour.
Seemed a pretty strange getting together at the time.
Could Born Again be one of those lost classics?
I really enjoyed listening to this one.
Fine sound as well.

THIS is the kind of theme the movie Batman needs.
Always wondered why they never played with Rush
❤❤❤
They were dynamite onstage... :)
Here because of the Radio Moscow cover of this, this song rips! Thanks for posting
Great song from a great band. I was lucky enough to see then live (Sunderland Mecca). I have a signed copy of Bolex Dementia!!!!!!
❤ S U P E R B 🎉😊 ! ! ! ! ! BERNIE GERMANY BOLLYWOOD LOVER AUS NBG 😊
Holy shit. Perfect title for this: "Cacophony".
Tiene Influencia De Bukka White, Willie Dixon, Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck y Led Zeppelin
Anyone have any lyrics for this? Great song.
Seen them half a dozen times, brilliant
This gem should have been a huge single.
was right into this group 😊
If this track doesn't get you on the dance floor, you're a dead man! Adrian Belew. The late, great Yogi Horton laying down that master groove!
50+ years later and this still kicks ass!! Thanks for posting!!
Super
I’m a rocker
Another heavy rock artifact I never heard of ... only took me 50 yrs to finally discover 🤷🏽♂️
Cool! xoxo The Clarences
I love this
Sounds like budgie, even the vocals are similar.
Does youtube have a remaster version good quality of this HAMMER band album?
one of my favorite songs, great cover!
This is great! Anyone know where one can hear the rest of this album? There is one other song ("Evil") on TH-cam.
Before the album came out, he was in the group of "unheard ofs" or "little knowns" along with bands that were really taking off. In Dayton Ohio you either came there to blow people away or you came to die. At the palace which would seat about 3500, you crammed in their and entered another universe. So many great shows, and later they would have to hold the shows at Hara Areana but the acoustics were phucking fantastic. Mahogany Rush, Charlee, Captain Beyond, Montrose, BTO, and more. BTO gave Dayton alot of credit to the success of the early drive towards the top of rock back then, Kansas was adopted and held captive like 6 times in 1972. Great time to be young, stoned, and into rock n roll!!
It's probably truth because The Fool (from their LP) was definitely based on He's A Woman She's A Man by Scorpions (from Taken By Force, 1977).
One of the guitarists in this band is my father, Brendan Harkin. He quit Starz after touring with them for many years and created a recording business. He owned a recording studio in Nashville for like 25 years and was very successful. He's now retired in Florida!
Was just reading a chat on Tommy Taylors page where they mentioned this band its members. Thought I would check it out. Gotta say I am glad I did. This is kick ass, old school, raw and fucking timeless!
RIP Dave Holland!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We all knew you were innocent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think this was played on ZRock on quite a few occasions if I am not mistaken. Outstanding!
One badass band ! ❤
Do you know the lyrics?
awesomeness
'Hangin' On' Heavy Metal Kids It was hard to say Goodbye to you While you, were by, by my side Cause you're not… The woman… That i love Baby you're allright Well i'm, gonna tell Tell you something Don't you tear yourself and myself apart Cause you left me… Hangin… On the street That used to be my heart Well it looks like I better be going Cause i think, yes i think that it's going to rain Don't you have no regrets Just forget That we met Won't bother you again
very very well..........................................................................................................................................................................
Sick as a dog as I feel right now... The riff, lyrics, solos are super... Amazing feeling song... Stunning song from a legendary band... RIP Eddie Clark you always will be missed
🤘
This is one of the best blues guitar solos ever!! And no one fucking knows about it.
I do! 😉
@@plexat4all We do!
Band out of Queens NY fabulous musicians !!
good
awesome obscure early prog-metal masterpiece, released in october 1976; splendid triple-guitar workout with the former late-period detroit wheels singer (no, not mitch ryder, but a certain marcus malone) and tim bogert on bass...no less!
💪👍
Fantastic.
Singers voice reminds me a little of Pavlovs Dog .
It says though the small faces the faces and mottahoopole and makhahupu all turned into one Band
Wow. Bands today wished they sounded this badass.
Good Aussie hard rock!👍🤘
The 'Violation' album was the pinnacle of Starz popularity as it was in the late 70s. My 13-year-old self was enamored with a girl named Christine at the time. She liked any kind of music I liked, and for the summer of '77 Starz-Violation was the album that made me cool, with its adult themes and catchy riffs it was beyond the top-20 AM radio hits of the day. I do recall another album from the same year with a song called 'Christine-Sixteen'. With knowing this girl that 'upped' my street-cred amongst the cool-kids, that song made me extra cool that eventful summer.
Follow this band back in the Seventy, those sold Rock n Roll Songs till ROCK, great music and words, bring me back to my ten age years, Yea Baby
Wicked album from kidhood. Magnificent!! Mel Galley (vocals, guitar) Rob Kendrick (guitar) Pete Wright (bass) Dave Holland (drums)
very cool sound!
