there are units that are considered meta for sure but this game seems more about building a solid team rather than just getting the latest busted character especially in the boss battle area where in the later stages where you need 2-3 teams to beat stages instead of just put Suomi and QJ on the team and watch them sweep the boss, lol

Here's how i see things especially with strategy games like this. "There's no correct answer, but some answers are more correct than others." That's how i view the meta then i think of why this is the more correct answer. What makes them the best in their role. How does it fit in other types. I am a GFL1 veteran. All of the gachas were always about teams. What synergies they provide to each other and what is the focus of the teams. 90% of the game is to clear the stage as fast as possible. How you do that is almost 100% of the time is higher damage output.

The reality is " Tier " units which by some coincidence happens to be banner units is your easiest way to progress. Typically events are released in which these units get a slight advantage. Regardless you wont be doing exceedingly well unless you spend a bit of cash. People should consider only investing in 6 dolls to start. Granted resources are available during events you wont have enough for 12 dolls and just risk bricking ur account. Even the acquisition of the guild unit is questionable. The dupes of her are just absurdly price. By the time she is viable you could have done so much better with another unit. The 5050 is real however luck could be on your side. On 1 of my 7 accounts I got 3 dupes of Suomi with little to no investment. It is possible. Tier list seems more applicable to PvP honestly. I can't imagine the PvP being anything close to the level of Epic 7. Plus the map for Pvp is kinda embarrassing. Slow n Steady wins the race with this game. Log in twice a day and you should be good with energy. Ttfn

The Tierlist is only for SSR v0. Nearly all SSR are strong someway. Just go v6.

Since i picked up this game Krolik has been my favorite doll. Imagine how discouraged i felt after funneling my resources on her only to find out she's the worst unit in the game... I stayed stubborn though and found a place for her. I have been having a lot fun with Krolik, Cheeta, Ksenia and Sharkry lately. My fun in this game comes from obtaining the most visually appealing characters. What's the point of playing a waifu collecting game if you're going to follow the tier lists like a Bible? It's the same as playing any other min-max game but without the cute/hot anime waifus. I only consult guides and tierlist when i get stuck for a helping hand.

For me, the tierlist or the meta is good as long as you don't follow it 100% and adapt it to your way of playing. If you follow it blindly it's like playing as a bot, your account is the same as most people's but if you adapt it to your way of playing it makes it more fun. For example in genshin to make keqing viable I got c2 for nahida and something similar happens with eula if you put them together with c2 furina. Instead of following the meta and getting a neuvillette or kazuha you look for alternatives. In GFL2 I plan to get dushnev, jiangyu and lenna.

True, Suomi cool and all. But as F2P I can't get everything. So I had to use whatever I have right now. But then there's the fun. Challenging stages with weaker units is actually fun for me. Even more since I came from Arknights, a game where weak units isn't completely useless. Is it frustrating to clear some stages? Yeah mo doubt But the rewarding feeling after you actually clearing it is what I'm after

You're gonna rethink what you said after hitting lvl45 and not being able to clear for all rewards. You need characters, you need good stats on attachments, you need to play it instead of putting on Auto. That's what is waiting for everybody later on aside from auto-farm options

yhea i agree I only got suomi instead of ulrid cause even tho ulrid is coller and more fun i also like to not sweat in this games so I like this broken supports then can make the game a lot easier but I will be going for the eletric team even tho most of them arent that great lenna and the chinese one i just find them so cool ( i am a bit sad lenna doesn t have her outfit in the story the cape looks so good, but ofc they when ffor one that shows more skin ....) for me balance is the best going for some strong units to make game easier and go for fun and cool looking characters

While i agree in principle some units do have more value then others. The team wide shield (without range restriction) from Suomi carries. especially early game.

The story is not that bad, but the main problem is that it is a continuation of an existing story that 99% of people know nothing about. To that handgun... 100% they must have forgotten to put some texture in there :D ... it looks like someone painted the gun in MS paint ...

Min-max is always bad... But if u want to progres higher stage u need best unit. But we don't have enough characters yet, so other units are being used for example u need 2 to 3 teams for platoon

you mentioned you play these games for the gameplay in which case I think you might find yourself sorely disappointed like I did, once you beat the story there are only a few one-time-clear stages and then that's it as far as gameplay goes, you'll get roughly 10 minutes of gameplay a week from then on with little to no progress as account xp takes way too long for you to reach any meaningful upgrades and even if you do stick around long enough to really get strong you'll only receive even less gameplay as a reward as you'll just auto even more stuff

Number 1, the blue grade weapons are all underdetailed, it's the purpple SR studd that actually have the missing details. Number 2, coldplay's handgun is the taurus curve, a really shitty "concealable" self defense handgun.

I can’t wait for global to get also the CN GFL2 Skins that will come in future updates, I will get the Seggxy Succubus Skin of Belka, I will get all my nikkes in the dormitory and enjoy their feet, I really love this game is my 2nd best side game with Nikke, I’m quite pleased my only rant is that there is a homoverse gacha style and there is a predatory weapon gacha system making the game not That F2Poor friendly with a 0.6% with a 50-50, I still prefer the 4% of Nikke but I will play both games religiously until EoS and enjoy them. EditNote: u can just AUTO all campaign to unlock all game modes and then u can start pushing difficult content but u will need to manual a lot, specially against Boss fights, but is quite fun if u like strategy games.
