you interrupt so much I left.
The man behind Bette is her son, Michael Merrill.
Bette should have been honored YEARS before she actually was feted by this organization! I guess they were waiting for her to croak so they wouldn't have to bother; maybe she did have plenty of honors already, but putting Bette through this wait was criminal!
EVERYONE hated working with Dunaway.
This movie is great! Love it so much that I had to make a video about it too :)
jeez, what a boring video.
Gee, I never would have thought 😮...
I think this was really nice, but feel there could have been more done.
Burst out laughing with them toasting each other, "Friendship with NO SECRETS!" The side eye they gave each other! Nah, Capote would have gotten nothing over on these fierce fashionistas!
Could not stop laughing at the expression on their faces after they toasted "Friendship with no secrets:". Oh, the side eye they gave each other! No way Capote could have gotten over on them! Love it!
I just watched Joan & Bette Feud today! I thought it was fantastic acting by Jessica Lang and Susan Sarandon. ❤️
Very cool thank you
I saw this movie when it first came out in 1962. I was 10 years old and saw it at a great, old movie theater in downtown L.A. It frightened and delighted me! I hated the Davis character and loved Crawford. This film got me interested in both of them, although I'm more of a Crawford fan. By the way, Viola Davis played Ma Rainey, not Bessie Smith. You should know that! It's Black history! Hell, the movie's title is "Ma Rainey's Black Bottom."
Hey, Thanks for celebrating those two everlasting legends with us! And, LOL! What a gaff! w/ Ma Rainey. Thx for pointing that out! My mom was a Bessie Smith fan and had an album cover with her and that image of Bessie got caught in my head for some reason when I was speaking. Another two legends!
Although I'm Team Crawford, I appreciate how you two take the work of these two great actresses seriously. Sounds like you've done your homework. It makes this old queen happy to know the love of Davis & Crawford is being carried on by the younger generation.
